So at Forrest Rd, the re-opening of the Mound led to an increase in motor traffic but bikes were *still* over 25% of traffic? Good going chaps!

I've had a little spare time this afternoon so I've made a little webpage to visualise the stats: http://coherentbits.co.uk/visualisation/spokes/

It's worth knowing that if you click on the legend then you can enable and disable different traffic types; for example if you just want to see the counts for cyclists.

Is probably just the volume of traffic but its interesting the majority of bikes are going the same way whilst the rest of traffic is basically evenly split.

Yes, is it the case that cars are effectively at capacity, so the north bound number of cars could be much higher if there wasn't all that pesky congestion?

On the other hand there is plenty of capacity for more bikes.

I presumed it interestingly reflected that Bikes are commuters/students?

I can't see why students would be going northbound in either of these two places but commuters, yes.
It probably is true that you just can't get any more cars in, otherwise we might see that reflected in car stats too.

The counts are for the hour between 8 and 9am.

Most students are still in bed, or having breakfast at this time.
