Mel and I always talked about riding out from the house to a few of these. Must see if that's a go-er this year.

I'm sure some CCE adhoc tour devisers will be able to suggest some optimum circuits to include a variety of suitable sites.
"Modernist structures from the 1950s to the 70s will also be opened to the public later this year."
That could be read as though previously DOD had only included older buildings, but it has included newer and even brand new ones.

It's no loss to anyone that RBS got the willies last year and cancelled opening up Gogarburn. It's an utterly uninspiring structure of plate glass and sandstone cladding, the sort of thign that's 10-a-penny around Edinburgh.
