Following on from Urban Foxes I picked up a postcard at work today which is part of a Water of Leith stall in Waverley Court. There is an online link to provide information on any sightings

I saw a large squashed one on the road back from the Bathgate Andes the other week. Clearly they still exist west of here...

I've been adding my hedgehog sightings to the Wildlife Information Centre for (what feels like) years. I saw another dead one just the other day. :-(

There's one lives in my garden. It snuffles around the garden leaving me slug free.

@Indto, you're in Fife so it doesn't count. Can I borrow your hedgehog for my allotment? Could do with some slug control...

Wondering if anyone else is still reporting hedgehog sightings?

Other survey pages are available, for raptors, badgers, spiders, hares, etc.

No but I did spot Eddie The Hedgehog in the back yard in Cambridge

And err, Nick Cave citing a Phil Larkin poem about accidentally killing a hedgehog with his lawn mower - Phil and Nick both ask us to be kind, while there is still time

Burns evicted the mouse from its home with his plough. Larkin chopped the hedgehog in half with his Qualcast. Discuss. [new higher English question].
