It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

I could have sworn blind that I started commuting by bike in May last year, but I'm reliably informed that it was the 8th of June where I first made the epic trip along the Union Towpath, overshooting my office onto Cultins Road, then going along the now-tramworks cycle lane to my office.
I feel I should celebrate in some way. Any ideas?

Well, the period is the 8th of June, 2011, so it might be hard to tell I'm in costume.

Convince somebody else at your work who doesn't cycle to bike to work that day. Pass on the joy!
Head out with an extra bike that day and press-gang a random person at a bus stop into making the journey with you in the hope of converting them.
I believe we have a plan in gestation...
My upstairs neighbour works at the Gyle and has mentioned wanting to bike it but doesn't fancy mixing it with cars, so I shall offer to bring a cake to share upon bikebuddying her to the office along the towpath.
Might need to fudge it and make it the 7th, but close enough. Leap year, and all that.

That's a solid call; I've been muttering about putting an Alfine 8 into the back of wee blue floofy for ages now.
