CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

"Isn't it time we learnt lessons from Cambridge"
Which ones...
None of the latter 4 apply to Edinburgh. The first three might be possible.
My husband was in Cambridge last weekend and commented on the 'core' scheme - basically he said all the roads in the centre were closed to traffic at night, except for taxis and cycles.
Remember when they tried to close George Street to traffic? It became a wonderfully tranquil street, just as it should be, but then the complaints started about those electronic barriers and everything got reversed.
It's funny, you get motorists complaining about an anti-car council and so on - that they're trying to force us all onto bikes and public transport. Giving away very clearly the fact they've never tried cycling round Edinburgh!
Yes, they are motorist, far to important to slum it with those poor cyclist. Let fact it only poor people cycle.
