Bruntsfield School Summer Fete: bicycle 'recycling' stall (9 June 2012)

This year's Bruntsfield School Fete (Saturday, 9 June, 11AM-2PM) will include a bicycle re-sale stall. You may bring along bikes to sell on the day and donate either all or part of the value of the sale of the bike to the school. Bikes tend to sell for between £15 and £30-ish.

Please note that we are only able to accept road-worthy bikes for re-sale. All bikes will be checked prior to acceptance for re-sale.

Weather permitting, the bike stall will likely be set up outside in front of the school in the playground, in the narrow section between the gates, next to the boat. Otherwise it will be moved to the bike shed area.

I'm running that stall. I shall have a full range of tools to fix bikes that aren't roadworthy.

oh good! Mr SRD thought he'd been dragooned into it, and while we have the tools, neither of us are to be trusted fixing someone else's bike (or even our own, come to think of it)
