Starting at Craigies - touring farm shops/cafes by bike - one or two days. more info here.
Sounds good to me, although it is yet another charity fundraiser (nice helmetless pic though :)
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

No helmet, but absolutely ridiculous shoes for a potential two day ride though :-)
I think the non-helmet wearing in this instance is more due to one potentially wrecking the hairdo! I wonder how long the flower in the hair would last on a downhill.
I really do wish photographers took serious photographs of cyclists, particularly women, here is one example for instance where the woman posing with the bike would not even be able to get on it without a mounting block or stair, and after that would hardly be able to reach the pedals, if at all.
Which photo are you talking about? I can only see two of cyclists on the site and both contain male roadies with lids.
Helmetless pic? All I found was this:

I think accessible via that social networking site FB!
That is a strange photo. She's all in lycra, but has a blue flower in her hair and wearing flat shoes.
What a really bad website. Several broken links and doesn't actually tell one (or if it does, it's very well hidden) the date of the event it's promoting.
Also I would like to say first large pothole and I envisage dislocated something or other, her arms are not in the correct position at all, and should be flexed. You just cannot get the staff these days, and I don't suppose many photographers actually cycle.
As for the Pearly Queen, very nice and kind of Doreen to pose for Boris bikes but they really should have lowered the saddle for her to less than waist height, and perhaps the handlebars too although they are rather less important. Being able to actually pedal would seem appropriate!
