Cycle space adverts

    Spotted a van this morning towing a trailer which had a couple of trailer bikes with adverts on them. The adverts said "give me cycle space" and had a guy on a bike with his arms held out, presumably to denote the amount of space drivers should give cyclists.

    Would be nice to think these might have some effect!

    Just trying to visualise ...

    So a van.. towing a trailer.

    And on that trailer were two trailer bikes....

    An on these trailer bikes was a slogan...

    Actually that isn't really enough space, I prefer this example

    It shows just how much space drivers are supposed to give cyclist!!

    Laidback - yes that was it! Sort of like a Russian doll but with trailers.

    Kim, yes the picture was very like that but I think it was an adult. I only got a glimpse as it drove past.

    I took it to mean the space should be the span of the (adult) guys arms, ie about 5 or 6 feet but I suppose it could be taken to mean that driving past within touching distance is fine? How does it look to folk here?
