Just as a quick aside to the main Strava topic - I discovered that you can export both your own rides, but also the CCE club rides as widgets.

Interesting to see how much mileage we rack up as a collective (and, of course, this is only the few forumites who use Strava):

Here I suffer from two limitations of my current phone - space and battery life. So I have the app on my SD card and thus can't use the widgets. The battery life limits the rides I'll have strava running. One day ....

It's an IFrame you can stick up anywhere else on the web that will show live updates of what people on CCE have been getting up to. You can see it on the sidebar of my blog, for instance.

For a free app, Strava is proving expensive. I bought a smartphone for it, and yesterday got a pair of hill running shoes to hit up the Braid Hills / Blackford area on foot!

Okay, I've joined. I am one of life's joiners. At university in Freshers Week I went to the Freshers Fair and saw the Legalise Cannabis Campaign stall. Intrigued I went up and asked to join. A tired looking couple issued me with a little card and a badge. "When do I get the cannabis?" I asked. The couple looked confused. "You don't get cannabis. You have to supply your own". I asked where I could get some but they just ignored me.

Does it work on a Blackberry Dave Widget Guru?

The widget is not the same as the app. However: "we do not have a Strava App for Blackberry phones, and at this time we do not have plans to head in this direction in the future. We've heard that GPS Logger II works well for our Blackberry users to record the GPS data, then export and import to Strava."
