If this can be believed there are a few damp days ahead - and, after today, a bit warm too.

    Clothing challenge/dilemma?

    From Twitter

"Raining this weekend? Take the 11, 22, 34, 35, 36 to Ocean Terminal and stay inside for shopping, perhaps a movie, or visit the Royal Yacht."

It'll be raining on the yacht too...

So it's raining and as a result I'm feeling a bit depressed. So how exactly will this help?

Apparently shopping cheers some people up (for a bit).

I prefer hearing chime whistles -

My daughter loves it! Ocean Terminal on the bus.

She is cycling again now though so I will not be lending her bus fares for a while!

Worst thing about maternity leave was people (ie other new mums) always wanting to meet at Ocean Terminal.

    How does it fit?

On the roof, badly. Standard practice is to retrofit the axles and transmission from aircraft tugs, uprate the bus's suspension using concrete, and install a load-bearing rollcage. :)

It's raining and it's not supposed to. I've not brought a waterproof with me today.

Move fast and dodge the raindrops?

My asthma's been so bad lately, I'm just resigned to be wet - and letting everyone pass me...at least I'm not on the bus.

  11. Got a waterproof jacket (mainly cos it's also windproof so still been wearing it lately) but not 'guards!

I apologise for the rain. It's my fault for making arrangements to meet a friend for lunch at the Mosque kitchen. It always rains when I go there - and I didn't have a jacket either.
