It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Hi all,
Could I have some suggestions or corrections for the back of the leaflet? Sorry it's not as pretty as kaputnik's poster. I'm going with black-and-white printing for the bike-leaflets.
These will be A5 (with the poster on the other side).

Don't understand the City Chambers at 730 ride. Thought the Bike Breakfast starts at City Chambers at 8? Or is there a wee ride around town for half an hour until then?

I assume it won't be a 7:30 sharp start and there will be an assumption of going at 'novice pace' stopping (if necessary) to make sure that the ride keeps together.
Also, of course, people will be trying to beat Gembo to the free maps.
Nice, shame there is no ride in from Fife direction. Might have to just turn up on my own to get a free map ;-)

But it does make the map confusing! Was thinking of leaving it off - but that wouldn't be fair...
chdot - the times are meeting times (the rides set off ~10-15 minutes later). Hope that's ok?

under 'items to raise with councillors' on the fountainbridge/craiglockhart list can we also add:
-- 'road surface between Tarvit St and Gilmore place'?
-- and the cycle lanes parking bays on Gilmore place?
-- and cycle contra flow on leamington Road
-- and total non-enforcement of no-parking/stopping on Gilmore Place? esp at the Polwarth roundabout?

I am a fool who can't work a calender, so I was wrong when I said I had a couple of afternoons off this week - it's next; probably too late, so I'll collect some flyers'n'posters ASAP and go during spare time instead.
If I remember from the Legionnaire's thread, you are Gorgish? I'm just up by Craiglockhart primary and usually shop in Sainsbury's, so I barely need to detour for a street pick up.
yes we're gorgish ish...... Slateford Green to be precise.
let me know when is good for you to pick them up. We are at work during the day (Leith or George Square) if that would be easier. Or evenings/weekend at Slateford Green.
