Shows how many people cycle in London even before they've got the lanes working!

CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Interesting. Is the 'super highway' work in progress? Wonder how they will improve?
The paint will fade... red is a better colour but TFL have used for their bus lanes I think.
Don't approve of pavement cycling**. Sadly we're bound to see more of it as the message that 'roads are dangerous' outweighs 'bikes have a right to use roads'.
**Of course we do have some out of town pavements that pretend to be cycle lanes
If you watch the video, you will see why the cycle on the pavement. As for the 'super highway', what you see is it! Not a 'super highway' just a normal cycle lane painted blue, it is all a bit of a con, they really need to make space for cyclist on the roads.
"What's wrong with a bike lane that cyclists can use safely?"
