Off back to Shakesville, SI (christchurch) this afternoon to wade through the 'stuff in storage'. Shudder. And reacquaint myself with my family. Yay!

Good anth, have job, house and bike sorted. Lovely too see family again after a couple of weeks. Now back to to car and utilities.
Loving it so far, feel like I'm on some weird holiday that is going to end at some point. Not helped by the fact I'm staying with the marketing manager for 'positively wellington tourism' (the branding/slogan of the council is 'Absolutely Positively Wellington', which I actually quite like, and everything follows from that. Makes me wonder whether "pure dead glasgow" would work :) or "you'll have had your edinburgh" )
I'm sure Prestwick Airport would have something to say about such a slogan for Glasgow, unless they're secretly highly embarrassed about it and would relish the chance to repairnt their pedestrian overpass.
Well, funny you mention it, Prestwick airport is owned by Infratil, the wellington-based owners of Wellington airport. Single branding job for the lot. Only more kilts in the scottish version. The blowing away tartan bit actually came from when the roof blew off wellington airport.
