Ridgeback Mx20 stolen from my drive in polwarth.... Kids left it out over night and some scrote took it between 3am and mid day today.. If anyone see's it dumped anywhere?... Maroon with rusty handlebars. It's no great loss but it annoys me that folk would steal a kids bike......

Does it look anything like that? It's probably more strapped-to-Uberuces-trailer than usual, I admit.

Saw it parked outside a very nice lady's house, and on enquiring discovered she'd found it there this morning.

uberuce - excellent work! +1 for the good guys

(I suspect it was someone's drunken conveyance home - have to admit I thought it would be in the canal)

THE SYSTEM WORKS!!! It's even still got the blue pool shoe on the saddle. The saddle is soaked through so who ever took it got a wet bum at least. Cheers Bruce I'll pick it up tomorrow if yer about..

If you're in now, it's ready to be transported and I can trailerise it there in a handful of minutes...

    I like this story.
When I was about 6 Colin Simpson (local bully) forced me to let him borrow my bike "just for a ride up and down the street" and then took off with it to parts unknown. My father (who was clearly my hero for ever after) went out and explored the neighbourhood and came back with it (slightly scratched and sad) a while later.
I reclaimed this bike from cousins a few years ago and one day I will do it up.

'Strapped-to-Uberuces-trailer' is a bit long for an adjective that I for one would like to see used more often,. Might I humbly suggest 'uberailered'?

Example usage: 'here's a picture of the wolf Darkerside encountered on the train this morning after it had been thoroughly uberailered'.

Aww, be nice to the wee floofy doggies, Darkerside. At least put them in the mobile kennel Carry Freedom also make, which I guess would be 'uberenneled'

Bike has been safely recombined, albeit with no trailer involvement since I couldn't figure out how to secure it without unacceptably close rear wheel spacing. If I had a wee table I didn't mind strapping a bike to, I could have put that upside down on the bed and that would have worked, but the only ones I have are nicely varnished.

Since RDNA was coming round that way in his van anyway...

Based on the size of the dog, I suspect any kennel would be matchsticks in short order. I'd want chains, straps, steel reinforcements and a Tom and Jerry style wolf pacifier on hand.

    Huzzah! :-)
Sickening when people steal personal property, ten times worse when it's from children, great to hear a positive result :-)

+1 for be nice to wolfie ;-)
