  1. I know for a fact that both Kirst and Min have got new bikes in the last week - where are the pictures girls?!?!!?

Min's cross bike looked rather nice from the brief, very fast, flash going in the opposite direction this morning.

It is rather nice. :-) I would have stopped to let you admire it properly only you were talking to someone!

I would try to take pictures but it is so shiny and gleaming that it just floods the camera screen..

  3. Pah, well I demand a look next week sometime!

I was just impressed with myself for recognising you on a different bike...

Min, don't worry about the gleaming problem. That'll disappear in about two years. :)

Years, weeks! Should stay fairly clean till it rains at least.

I have been rather busy this week and haven't had time to post pics, but I will when I get round to it. My priority this weekend is moving flat!

Hmm, that may be on the way home given some of the clouds that have been going about today.

I will try to preserve the gleamingness for as long as possible!

  9. I have a feeling I leave work too late to catch you on the way back. Determined to see this bike now!

Yes I think you do. I've only ever seen you once on the way home and I left work quite late that day.

We got a 35 hour week a couple of years ago. :-)

Not the only ones with new toys... :-D
Mine isn't new, new, but it's new to me and virtually unused so much shinieness :-)

A work colleague christened my current bike Jurgen as it's sensible and dependable etc, I think the new one will have to be called Eva...(!)

Lovely bike, Kirst! Did you go for a potter Currie-way?

I went along the canal and then up to Currie and back through town. The photo is taken just past the bridge carrying the bypass over the Water of Leith.

Does anyone else see the guy who commutes in over the bridges on a BMX (probably about 8:15 ish?)

It looks like really hard work, and I can't imagine he gets much slack from drivers either. But, it would be a lot easier to store under the desk in the office ;-)

    That's what folders are for!

I have the black and white leaves one too. I've lost count of the number of people who have stopped me to ask where I got them. And anth only recognises me because of them!

Are they from Hema? Heel mooi! I have some great panniers on my bike in Amsterdam from hema 7 euros they cost and you can get a small suitcase in each side.

Retro style from Dawes - Leith Cycle Co.
    7 speed derailleur.

The owner has managed to put her chain on at least twice now! Not too heavy a bike and can do Dublin St with a full basket... Used most days.

I'd probably find it difficult not explore the limits of performance or frame stiffness, but that said, it's actually a really nice looking town bike, LB!

It has good brakes, then? ;)
