Ride into the hills one evening, take supper, enjoy a beverage of choice, have a good night's sleep I am the fresh air and be home in the morning in time for Saturday kitchen.
I've never camped up there and at this rate i'm not going to get to use the bivvy this year.

Ah yeah I had later in July in mind, with a vain hope that the weather might improve.
I feel your pain. I had hopes of organising a ride to England and back, taking in some of the sights on the way, inviting interested CCEers. As I'm not wanting to ride in the rain I've decided to wait for better weather.
I'm up in Wester Ross from the 28th to 4th, but other than that am game.
