    This is funny as I'm sure I saw a tweet yesterday from someone in Cambridge where the developer was under fiire for removing from their plans, cycle storage.

    My Mum used to teach in Orwell School some years back. There wasn't room for 234 more cars then, and certainly isn't now!

    I know the area well. its heavily oversubscribed for parking spaces.
    when you consider the number of houses there (approx 900 on Caladonian Crec/place andOrwell Place alone.
    add in Orwell terrace,and all the people living on Dalry road,the Colonies etc with little/no parking.
    there will never be enough

    Pretty sure the building work behind KwikFit on Fountainbridge is destined to be 450 student rooms with no parking too...
