Wilmington, London Road, last seen on the East Norton Place section and thence presumably roundabouting.

A "hybrid"/non-suss mountian bike. With time trial bars. A bizzare-looking beast, passing through Haymarket station at 8:30 or so this morning. Friendly rider!

Chap pushing a handcart which was in fact a tub of grit with a spreader/thrower mechanism linked to the wheels.

Assuming the device works when pulled backwards as well as it does when pushed forwards, a bodge to being bike-pullable ought to be feasible.

I reserve the right to not recognise people I've only briefly met once before when they weren't wearing a snood.

Spotted Roibeard just after 9am on Buccleuch Street, inexplicably looking slightly lost. Surely not!

Probably stationary waiting to get the collar number of the illegally parked, hungry police officer...

At least his employer might take a bit more interest in this than the average white van man.

Apologies for being task fixated and ignoring you!

I believe I spotted a number of CCEers disguised as cars today. I was disguised as a hungover road cyclist.
Dave in Portabello disguised as a estate and I think Chdot turning towards gilmerton disguised as a people carrier.

Reverse vehicular spot, I was disguised as small car driver while the SRD family held me up trying to get round on to Semple Street :-D

Hankchief with Helios + children on Meadow Place Road at lunchtime. It could have been someone else, but it sure looked like him and there aren't that many stripy Helios's (Helioi?) in Edinburgh.

I was cunningly disguised as a green Octavia estate, so a reverse spot was unlikely.

Greenroofer - yeah that was me...

I do hope the decal on the Helios is unique - wouldn't want to be thought of as just another Helios...

Stretching the bounds of 'spotted', but I spotted a super bright front light approaching in my mirror as I was riding up Gilmore Park towards the lifting bridge. The light belonged to Kaputnik, who was possibly even more proud of his new fiery horizontal-light-saber-of-deth of a rear light.

I had a chance to compare it with the old standard of the Cateye LD600 Knight Rider light as we headed over to the Laid Back Bicycle Emporium. The Cateye wasn't even close.

Arellcat going up Braid Road. I was disguised as a sprogletwrangling pedestrian shepherding a dozen or so kids back to the main school building.

Not the most comprehensive diguise, since I had 3/4 length trousers, SPD shoes and my homebrew retroreflective cycling gloves on.

A man cycling along Nicolson St with a flashing white light affixed to the back of his head. No idea what was holding it there or why he though a white light at the back was a good idea.

i spotted bikefan the other day, but we were both being pedestrians, so it took me until now to remember (a) his real name and (b) his CCE name.

Briefly popped home after PY to retrieve the charging cable for my light. As I came back out the stair door, I spotted the aforementioned guy who has a red/blue flashing rear light like a police pursuit car heading up MMW.

I was spotted this evening on Balcarres St, but wasn't quite sure by whom. Given location and the trailer in tow, I'm guessing Uberuce?

It was indeed me. My internet has been borked all weekend or I'd have made the Spot earlier. Your front lights are fine. Good and bright, but my first thought was ZOMG RECUMBENT rather than ZOMG MY EYES WHAT WILL I DO WITHOUT MY BEAUTIFUL EYES, so no worries there.

Rode in today and spotted a chap walking along Barnton Ave with his bike. On enquiring he had fallen on an icy stretch and broken his rear derailiur. I comiserated and went on my way. I had thought it was warming up but did se a couple of small icy sections, mostly in low lying sheltered stretches where the sun never shines in the winter.

    Take care out there guys.
