"Did we pass?"
Nup. I was just going through the northern bollards as your hat disappeared.
Also saw a Thorn tandem going down the Springside WAR zigzag a little later without any apparent trouble.
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Spotted four cycle police going west on the canal by the Gibson Terrace building site opposite to Dorset Place around 1.20pm today.
New recruits to the cycle division doing "the knowledge"? getting their fitness up? going mob-handed to an incident?
Clues, anyone . . .
Yellow tandem 'orbit' in Bristol square
And Rory Bremner in George square. Not on a bike tho :(
Either Mr SRD on Gillsland Road, or someone who hivizzes and beards the same will wonder why the man with objectionable gloves waved at him.
Spotted Angelo the recumbing Trans-Canadian guy heading in the direction of Laid Back Bikes as I was just heading home about 18.15. Obviously trying out a disguise as he was on a Brompton today.
Then spotted Wingpig going through the Strathearn Road-Beaufort Road junction at about 100rpm.

@WC - judging from the angle, I must have blanked you.
I'm afraid that, being with the kids, I'll have dismissed you as "not a hazard" without recognising your personhood...
My apologies, my only defence is that maintaining such precision formations requires a degree of concentration!
;-)
Robert
It was quite impressive watching you an Mrs Roibeard marshalling along and controlling the lane! Didn't want to distract by shouting (only realised it was you when you were ten yards ahead, and in your defence I'd been on the other side of a bus shelter!).
Ah, but it wasn't Mrs Roibeard - Mhairi (12) is now taller than her Mum! It's all the kids and myself - probably only noticeable when I bark commands...
Robert
Even more impressive! :D
2 of LBP finest at Lasswade Road / Captains Road on foot with a tripod and camera this morning.
I think they might have been enforcing the ASL...
I was selected to be in a photo, but I think it was more to do with the car beside me half in the ASL rather than them wanted to see a wrapped up cyclist with a cold nose...
Didn't appear to be stopping the car just taking occasional photos.
Given the conditions I didn't hang around to find out more.

Helios tandem most mornings at the commie.....
Bikefan heading off to work yesterday.
Dave yesterday on the Trinity path and again giving a freindly wave this evening.
Instgraphy passing me at the Y split at Craigleith. I cslled out 'Hello Steven' but I guess you never heard me.
Someone photographing at MMW/NMW junction
Bakfiets with cover on at Tollcross end of Melville Drive
Greenroofer about to climb a snowy Craighouse Road. He called out something that may have ended in 'Spot' but I couldn't make it out, and according to The Done Thing in such cases, nodded and said 'Heh....yeah!"
Morningsider on Leamington Walk about 530. Gembo (I think) perhaps 10 minutes previously at Fountainbridge.
Kaps were you in black with yellow kap? Thought it was you, turned big whitey at juni green
@gembo in black with a grey cap, yellow bits on bike and pannier. Red and white buff over as much of my face as it could cover.
I spotted Morningsider too, at Church Hill, and we rode down Morningside Road into the teeth of a shower of snow, sleet and hail.
"into the teeth of a shower of snow, sleet and hail"
Character building.
I think I may have exclaimed, "Ah, such jolly cycling weather!"
Reverse spot of Uberuce on Balcarres Street as I prepared for the ascent of Craighouse Road in the teeth of a blizzard. Reporting of this spot was delayed due to the need to put little Greenroofers to bed first.
I did say 'I think that counts as a Spot' as we passed.
I was going to post a picture so you could see that it genuinely was Uberuce (and that he was genuinely wearing shorts), but the bike cam was covered in snow and so the pictures are unintelligible.
No such thing as bad weather, just home commutes so short it's not worth the time to roll your trousers back down.
No such thing as bad weather
Correct. There's only people not as well'ard as Bruce.
This morning I was in waterproofs neck to toe, though.

earthowned this morning, who was paying far too much attention to the traffic to get out of the junction he was at to have got the reverse spot. I believe this means I win?
Reverse spot of wilmington's bum as he accelerated away from lights far faster than me with all his "gears". Sometimes headwinds get a bit too much when riding stupidly big single speed.
