I just exchanged waves with Mr Ubueruce upon Harrison Road/Gardens - a most cheering moment after a rather moist ride

He was wearing arm warmers?

I wish I could say I'd photoshopped them in, but no, they were there.
You'll be in long trousers next.

I were freezing on Tuesday morning, and it was raining at the time I put them on. This morning I am back exercising bears, fret not.

Bruce spotted this morning with camo backpack, leaving house and clipping in as I approached running to work

I'm reliably informed that the bike has chuff all meaning in the context of the pub. Apart from they're obviously not ones to shy away from jumping on a "what's cool now" bandwagon.

I thought it was a ghost bike to remember someone who died from drinking too much Tango.

RTC, MMW. Also a police landrover and motorbike a bit north of PY.

38 men, 6 women, 6 juniors and 12 kids riding the Edinburgh 48s CX series at craigmillar castle this evening. Was a top race and good to see so many attending despite hail and it being right cold.

Man on a big Dutch bike this morning coming up slope from Telfer Subway. Had entire frame painted/taped in yellow stripes like a big iron wasp.
It was the furry cat-ears attached to the top of his helmet that first caught my attention!

Why doesn't that surprise me...

Shuggiet + junior assistant doing a splendid job flyering passing cyclists at the end of the aqueduct this evening.

In order of appearance at this afternoon's POP demo: Dave paused on Middle Meadow Walk; Laidback recumbenteering along Melville Drive; Wingpig plus mini-wingpig cycling along the queue of cyclists, (trying to find someone?); Fimm on a Brompton heading along Melville Drive to the back of the large column of agitating cyclists; Nice chap from Portovelo (whose name I can't recall): he spotted me first. Oh and of course chdot snapping away near the illustrious speakers at the end of the brief procession.
Apart from the Portovelo chap and Uberuce I don't think anyone spotted me. Might have been because I was 'incognito', sans tandem (sans mrs crowriver), and riding solo.

I saw you. I was filming the queue.

Sally Hinchcliffe, Wilmington's Cow, Kaputnik, Uberuce, Excitable Boy, PS, Wingpig, Wingpig Jnr, Mr SRD, ChDot, Steveo, rug tomcat, laid back , arellcat, cc, Arobcomp, Smudge, smudge junior
To name but a few from this forum I clocked watching the entire body of cyclists and pandas go through.
Good effort

The usual laid back suspects, plus fimm (in a spectacularly visible hat!)

Yes, we got back from up north and I was able to come after all. :-)
Magnatom, Mrs Magnatom and small Magnatoms in the Bike Works.
Darkerside (as stated above).
No one else I recognised, embarrassingly...Posted 11 years ago # -
also Amir, Nelly, Min, Colin and Theo.

Only person I spotted was Sally - only because I've seen pics of her before, and she said she would be the one selling the POP T-shirts.
I was the loony one with balloon flowers & POP posters on bamboo poles sticking out my panniers, and pink balloons on my helmet.Posted 11 years ago # -
Nelly, Cycling Mollie stewarding (Roibeard must have been somewhere).
Wingpig cycling on meadows back and forth. Lionfish flyering. Rabid Hamster hamstering etc
Wilmington's Cow in press gallery...

Oh yeah, almost forgot, Arelicat, with recumbent propped against a tree whilst in the queue. Don't think she saw me though...
Posted 11 years ago # -
No-one claiming Insto yet? I saw him.
Posted 11 years ago # -
I saw Steveo, the winged pig, kaputnik, chdot, SRD, uberuce and that's all. I think. I saw lots of other people that I didn't know. Didn't get to chat to them all.
