Not spotted anyone really for a couple of weeks. There is a Recumbtrike week before last on the Blackhall path heading west. Mate who i commute in and out with says he works with him at Crewe Toll (Selexo??)

I feel a bit left out, I'm a spotted virgin. Not a 16 year old, I've just never seen any of you!

From about 5:15pm most days I join the Union canal at Wester Hailes and head along to the aqueduct by Asda Chesser where I jump off again. Give the bright blue skater helmet a wave!

Andy who posts here as storybikes on Bruntsfield Place, followed by a police on a bike, and then Andy again!

    Most puzzling.

I hope you don't literally jump off the canal at the aqueduct, Dunny, it is a long way down. ;-)

Haha fimm, nope I use the stairs at the side, however I did pretty much jump about a fortnight ago, when I lost my footing near the top of the stairs and tumbled a couple of flights. I was completely uninjured, even managed to start laughing before I stopped! Don't think anyone saw me, which weirdly I was a little disappointed in.

Got a couple of reverse Spots in quick succession crossing on Gray's Loan. The second from Nelly, the first I didn't identify before getting out of range, although I returned the wave.

'Glad to see you back on your bike' were the words you may have strained to hear, Nelly.

Ah, cheers Bruce - yep, your chat got lost in the wind. Still not 100% but rather be on the bike than the car!

@Dunny - I thought I'd spotted you once and PM'd you at the time, but I now guess it wasn't you because the person I spotted was going in the opposite direction to the one you describe.

We travel the same route at about the same time, but in the same direction. I'll wave if someone in a blue skater helmet overtakes me...

Sorry, I was rushing home as my husband was ill and I was late in at work. Nothing personal.

    Honest.. ;-)

  11. Waved and shouted and evryfink, but that's a reasonable excuse. It was a bit of a race face on.

We spoke about how everyone seemed to be particularly S***e at driving today.

Bike Station Perth have a stall selling bikes and parts at Dundee university student union today. It was good to see them there, though not the best weather for it. I said hello and wished them luck.

"An ASL on the new taxi rank at Haymarket."

It'll certainly get plenty of use but not by the intended vehicle.....

Actually, that ASL is rather more interesting than first appeared...

just saw two odd bikes on canal path. didn't get pics.

one a red suspension bike with almost invisible seatpost. ridden by older chap. not mountainbike style.

second girl on a white trike with small wheels - 5 inches maybe? honestly looked by buggy/trolley wheels.

both possibly folding? neither rider had helmets. more euro cycle-chic style.

Pedersen and McClaren buggy turned into a bike?

@gembo that's exactly what it looked like -- a pederson comnbined with a maclaren.

    and i found it : http://belizebike.com/english/carryall.html

and, I almost wonder if the first bike I described wasn't something like this: http://belizebike.com/english/punta.html -- it would explain why it didn't appear to have a seatpost.

    Good googling

The McClaren Pedersen folds like a buggy and would occupy a long thin cuboid space with wheels not in the way,

There is one chains up at my work looks like a compass with buggy wheels with saddle at apex of compass legs. Never moves

    Electrofolder

No idea what this is. Front half looked a bit like a Raleigh Small Wheel clone. Rear half might be custom? Transmission and electric parts looked new. Double chain drive system, one for pedals, one for motor. Assume a clutch in the hub.

Close up of the mechanicals. Looks like the electric drivechain has fallen off. Wonder how it is kept tensioned. Also, that's one honking big rear cog, looks "hand made" too.
