Double spot this evening, that Postcode Lottery Bicycle on the road, and a set of Revolights (or similar) passed me as I left work.
The cold doesn't seem to have put off folk today...

CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Been parking next to a very new-looking white Gazelle Chamonix electric bike at work this week. Not sure of the type of Chamonix that it is but a very elegant looking bike nonetheless.

One like this?
Not quite, Smudge. More like the Xtra Innergy:
And it's not white, black and silver. My power of observation at 07:30 is clearly deficient.
*gracefully withdraws from the Spotted thread*
Arelcat on West Preston Street last night looking like the happiest cyclist on earth. Pod riding clearly does that. I was disguised as a car.
This morning a blue Yuba Mundo through the Meadows.
gembo aboard the 44 as we both rocked funky hats (which goes without saying)
I must say mr w. cow looking very dapper in new tweed jacket and scarf topped off with tweed baker boy bunnet. I saw his tweed bunnet and raised it with my isle of Lewis tam o shanter each yarn dipped in petrol by the fishwives of callanish.
Made Danish visitor wear it in restaurant. Spent much of time in restaurant trying to pronounce Danish desert made with strawberries and cream something like rock grok Mille feuille
Uberuce in a natty red cap about to head up Argyle Place. Was afraid that saying hello would disturb the concentration and result in a comical Father Ted style accident...
£4 from Sainsbury. I was indeed In The Zone and didn't see you, sorry.
Spotted Kim in Evening News today cycling on pavement legally at the mound and pointing out that it was not a very good example of a shared use path
couple of a tandem heading into Dobbies.
anyone here?
That rear disc is huuuuge!
Edit: sliced pic!

The right-turn filter lane of Wilmington's Cow.
Wingpig this morn on Lothian Road (and in keeping with the millinery-direction of this thread, I do like that canvassy cap thingy, whereas I had eschewed all attempts at fashionista with a beanie under my helmet keeping my ears toasty).
Silver Brompton 3 speed(I think!) With a front drum brake conversion and revolights on the queen st train.
Anyone on here?
Red paperbike going west along Shandwick?
I thought I spotted kaputnik near slateford today but wearing uberuce's beard.
Yes!...
I think there is a similar volume of materials in the beard but with more of a perm.

Mainly spiders.
Jackson Priest riding along Fisherrow North High Street this morning as I was coming out the barber's.
I think one of the Daves over took us just before the red bridge that overlooks Ferry Road on the roseburn path.
I only know it was him because he bought my turbo trainer last year.
I'm still slightly in love with your bike. That sounded less stalkerish in my head...
I will see your stalkerish comment and raise you the fact I've basically Single White Female'd my daily commuter aka wintersaurus into being a copy of Dave's.
Well, the similar handlebars were actually intended for another bike but didn't fit, so the fact I went bullhorns doesn't really count.
And it's blue, not white. So not that either.
And I've had it on fixed for eighteen months or so, whereas Dave only put his that way recently, after two years of destroying internal gear hubs.
So I guess it's just the front hub and lighting.
Reverse spots by Nelly and Dave. Didn't recognise either until they'd named me, although Nelly was my #1 suspect - there's another rider with a similarly fearsome light that does that route, but rides a hybrid.
@uberuce, I heard your Marathon Winters before I saw you :-)
I did cycle over the Red Bridge heading towards Craigleith this eve around 17:20. I overtook fpur peds though just befor the bridge.
I followed a bike onto the frb later on and struggled to keep up. The other bike was an mtb with ice studs. I recon it must have been an electric bike as I was travelling light and the guy never stood up or changed into a low gear.
A rare double CCE/Brompton-Brompton spot this morning, FIMM at the station (waves). :)
@Smudge beat me to it.
<Waves back> :)
Saw someone with a set of revo-lights going through Newbridge last night. Must have been about 5:30, anyone on here?
wingpig this morning on the cycle path alongside Melville Drive. Then he simply vanished.
It's the Meadows Triangle.
