ARobComp - yes, sorry about the grumpyness - your stealth manoeuvres kind of surprised me and I had just finished a bit of a day from hell at work, which then turned into an evening from hell, with super grumpy kids. Still, I'm off tomorrow and some lovely Belgian beer appears to be heading my way...Cheers!

Spotted a Raleigh folder bike this morning as I cycle past Tesco Broughton. It was heading under the Rodney St tunnel, or should that be through the Rodney St tunnel.

"The Bicycling Baritone of Balerno this morning on the towpath."

Did you orchestrate a stand-off on the aqueduct?

    Dave lives in Currie

I serenaded kaputnik this morning, shortly after shuggiet had handed over 200 leaflets of kappers fine artwork, several laminated and several bigger posters.

Roibeard and clan setting off, as me and my clan descended on Inch for weekly Go-Ride session with gangs of kids, though gangs weren't so big today..It was his fault that we started down that happy route as he pointed out the ERC sessions on this forum 18 months ago..

I saw the Paperbike guy again tonight, heading into his flat, and decided to say something. He seemed genuinely appreciative of my advice that he should always cycle in the same direction as the cars. And of course, of my admiration for his lovely red bike.

Do you think he comes from country where cycle lanes go both way but on the one side like we might be getting?

ARob Comp at MMW junction I think? But not in his usual race kit. Irene and I were on the Quetzal tandem concentrating on taking a left so might be imagining things!

Just visted Bike Works Glenrothes and seen a lovely Longstaff 853 tricycle tandem and a lovely Orbit tandem freshly painted. Mmmmm :0)

@laidback - aye that was me pootling along in shirt and jeans with a coffee in hand. It was all very continental. The Quetzal was drawing some appreciative glances from passers by although cornering did look a touch tough.

HankChief waving at me from distance on the East Craigs path network. He must have good eyesight.

But how far did you get before there were cars parked in it?

Passed DaisyDaisy waiting at the traffic lights at Morningside Station this evening. I was going the other way and trying to do a bit of assertive cycling to get onto Braid Road. I was so busy doing that, that I didn't have the mental bandwidth to note if she was on a bicycle built for two or not.

Peter's Yard, on this week's Pramface* (BBC THREE) tonight ;-)

    * Mostly filmed in Edinburgh, but set in an unnamed SE English town.

Spotted Mr SRD this morning near the top of Morningside and said a cheery hello.

Not been watching Pramface but lots of filming around EH9 involving disconcertingly bright TV lights in back gardens at odd times. Mrs Snowy thought she spotted Freemans coffee shop and possibly the downstairs of the Argyle bar? (Been a while since we were in though...)

Big wheel tandem this morning on the Corstorphine railway path, struggling to make the right turn from the Traquair Park access. One pilot, no stoker, one childseat passenger.

    "Tangerine Brompton"

    Orange?

    Plus a "Raw Lacquer" one.

(And the 'novice can't fold it' gag.)

My colleague has a new "Raw Lacquer" Brompton (but is very unlikely to have been Spotted in Edinburgh, as he is Glasgow-area based).

Algo spotted me and trikelyst at Polwarth. Coming back from ride out to Kirknewton. We were three but one other had peeled off at Gillespie cross roads.

Nelly ahead of me on the Broomhouse path (you can't miss that yellow bike).

Had almost caught up before I turned off down Stenhouse Avenue to head for Fords Road. Was interested to see if our paths would intersect again (see whose route is faster!) but it wasn't to be.
