I was wondering if that side was going to go after the ambulance and whether the yet-u identified cyclist behind the pedestrians would go round them etc.

Two Litre Muscle Sunbather Guy on Middle Meadow Walk wearing his clothes back to front and bellowing at all and sundry 'DON'T YOU EVEN WANT A PHOTOGRAPH YOU SAD AND DESPERATE PEOPLE?'

I hope an intervention can be staged in his life somehow.

That boy who is living up a tree In The cowgate. He has the crazy idea that Edinburgh has enough hotels.

Nice wee bivvy going on up the tree. - he was in the news and tonight I spotted him in his eerie.

A regularly-spotted but unknown commuter (who is usually walking north on the Roseburn path in the morning) was heading east past the end of North St. David St. in the evening earlier this week.

Not sure if running is the correct term, but it was I... suffering.

At Forkenfords two gents wearing nice new blue fluorescent tabards with WATP emblazoned on the back. Which was errr....nice.

Also Ian Murray MP on his phone (is he ever seen off it?) waiting for the bus on Old Dalkeith Road.

Someone camping in Corstorphine Hill Park near the A8, with bike.

Tourist taking wild camping a bit too far?

    Or, homeless local?

@gembo I am informed that my brother was in your vicinity today at the Balerno Fair Traid Event. (He also claims that you purloined a packet of sweeties from The Mill. The Balerno Parish Church Enforcers have of course been informed! Your lofty position with the Village Cinema will be no protection against their cruel powers.)

@unhurt, I hope your bro enjotyed cycling the EBC smoothie bike? I purloined no packets of sweeties but I was given a free packet of nuts by the fair trade stall, which I was not allowed to eat in the hall due to potential food intolerances which I err did eat in the hall (once all intolerants had departed).

    @LaidBack twice yesterday:
1st time around 10am @LaidBack cruising down Johnston Terrace (I was walking and too slow to wave)
2nd time around 6pm on Viewforth in front of the shop (which I didn't know was there!). I was running for the train and again too slow.

Man, I hope I find whose gloves they are as if I need to tell the fairtrade people there will be a lot of paperwork.

Pair of gloves for a bit of paperwork? Seems like a...reasonable exchange?

@frenchy, will require a licence, a permit, an inspection, red tape, suggestion of use of yellow and black tape, suggestion I go outside and run a smoothie bicycle in the rain under a gazebo with my weak chest, retraction of said suggestion, all round happiness and request for same again next year. Ok, you have convinced me. If the last two suspects do not get back I will inform the fairtrade polis.

@bill - 2nd time around 6pm on Viewforth in front of the shop (which I didn't know was there!).

Cheers Bill. The new shop has achieved a perfect blend of reduced invisibility and inaccessibility.

We've been blockaded by building sites to the north, closed canal bridges, closed canal paths and now the closed junction at Viewforth. Despite this some people have still made it to the shop. No one said recumbent bikes and tandeming were about making things too easy!
