Was out a wee walk there to st mungo' swell. Just off the WoL path(still very dry despite rain) at Currie kirk. Go down the steps towards the road but turn east along a little path. You will reach the well after maybe 150 yards. Has a photo of a painting of the Madonna sitting on ledge for some reason. Dab yourself then continue on the path takes you back onto the wol path at an opening where the second WoL path brass plaque is.

Anyway what I spotted in the river at Currie bridge is that the stone balancers of the water of leith have reached currie

@nedd1e_h not at all. Hope my generic "hi" and lack of recognition until we'd passed one another didn't come across rudely...

@Arellcat in Morningside in pursuit of an A3 fix. Arellcat, it would appear, has an N+1...

I thought greenroofer's hat on head of potential Greenroofer signalling to turn right outside my head. Technically that is straight ahead but I know what he meant. I am only claiming the hat, the man is another thing

Two different Helioses, one being pushed along Gilmore Place, the other crossing Clerk Street on the Meadows to Arthur's Seat link.

@gembo - I've not been near your head today. I've mainly been allotmenting, hedge cutting and A3 spotting.

Which hat are you claiming? The orange one? I've not been wearing that recently: it's so 2016. I favour a grey and purple Vulpine one now, which I got cheap from EBC.

klaxon on Paper Bike at Corstorphine Road. I was on foot.

Slightly earlier, a woman trying out her new Dutch-style step through on Balgreen Avenue.

At Greenroofer, yes the grey one. As I said oops outside my head I said oops outside MY HOUSE.

Just the hat though not the Greenroofer. Some guy is stealing your chops. I never claimed a spot of the 'roofer.

Had nice walk to look at the monster golden balls on the Cala development at kinleith.

Came back via poets Glen which has had some repairs and Currie kirk graveyard where a twenty year old and a forty one year old of my ken lie mouldering. Shed a wee tear, what can you do?

Two cycle police officers, chatting whilst cycling two abreast through the Grassmarket...

The more of this, the better!

@roibeard, to paraphrase Ian Walker's 2014 paper - the onlyo thing a cyclist can do to influence driver behviour is to dress as a police officer and cycle two abreast with another police officer

@Arellcat torpedoing (if that's a word) up Braid Road as I was on the school run. We had a short discussion about problems with headsets on Elephant Bikes*. I'm not sure if I would prefer to take the Elephant Bike or the red torpedo up Braid Road: it being steepish and them both being heavyish.

*Did I mention that I had an Elephant Bike?

A Moulton at Stevenson's Close on the Royal Mile at lunchtime. Rider was a gent, with trousers, shirt and a beard.

Spotted a cheap Brompton copy in the bike car park at work, also Union flag Brompton in Evans last night when I was assisting colleague with bike to work. Brommie mostly white.

@Greenroofer, the torpedo tips the scales at about 35kg with my usual luggage, so your loaded up Elephant Bike was probably quite close! The torpedo does have lots of gears though; 22 inches at the low end.

Thought I had a spot by Gembo while at the boat coffee place on the canal chatting to a friend. If not then someone else spotted me and shouted "ARob"

That was a risky shout, your spottee could have been mistaken for being an alarmed racist.

Yes Arobcomp you named me at the time correctly.

@Frenchy Was that @Rosie battling her way through the Murrayfield crowds just before 5?

Yes - I live a 100 meters away from the stadium. I managed to weave my way through the crowds.

Your slalom skills are better than mine, I got off and walked most of the way down Roseburn St.

I was in the car heading up the A90 to Aberdeen this morning, and passed a little Mitsubishi Mirage.

The registration was W1 SOB, which made me smile. Alas I couldn't get a photo.

@Frenchy I had to take to the pavement as the pedestrians had occupied the road.

At least I was going with the flow. Once or twice I have timed my movements badly and ended up pushing against the tide.
