SRD @min they were doing circuits of Arthur's seat last week!
It looks like terrific exercise!
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Two cycle-Polis on the Pinkhill path just now...
I passed two north/city bound cycle police on Torphichen Street this morning.
On Colinton to Balerno path half a dozen guys in orange hi viz each with luggage on a tow-along led by a guy in yellow hi viz.
Discovered today that the owner of the green Pedersen and I have mutual friends.
@Arellcat "... a little Mitsubishi Mirage... registration ... W1 SOB, which made me smile..."
Awww. I want F1 ONA of course (not really). I wonder how much that cost?

Currently attached to a fancy Mercedes, so not particularly cheap.
Police officer on bike going down Liberton Brae. Adherence to stopping behind the white line at a red light just as good as for police officers in cars ;)
Dude cycling all funny on Minto Street. Tonnes of luggage. I greeted him and learned that he was forty two days out from Genoa, heading for Inverness.
Fancied the museum and the castle, needed a room so I took him to the backpackers' hostel at the bottom of Candlemaker Row. Told him not to cycle the A9 and how to get into the castle for free. Stephano. Still on the chain he left Italy with, but it was flapping worse than mine. He'll get it changed in Snecky for the return trip.

@pawl, excellent, good old D of e award (not man)
Hank one of your engines appears to be slacking, one on the back was sitting up with his hands from the bars and not peddling.
An IWRATS heading south towards Causewayside c. 18:30
"An IWRATS"
There's more than one?!
@stereo yeah & he gets very grumpy when it gets pointed out. Once I have the bike carrying trailer mk2 up and running he will be pedaling...
Young lad pulling a wheelie down Cultins road tonight. Mighty fine. Then, when reached top I signalled I was going to turn right to get on canal towpath (really in case a car was coming up) and a car going down actually stopped for me. That is a first. Then the sun came out and I decided to put electric bike through its paces on ravelrig hill. Could not do anywhere close to 15mph on that gradient though obviously the easiest I have ever gone up there. Massive plot cleared for housing there which is very bad

Now I don't often get spotted so that's good.
On the question of IWRATS' uniqueness I am compelled to believe that there is an IWRATS/anti-IWRATS pair in existence. Anti-IWRATS is entirely normal apart from believing that bike thieves should get a nice cup of tea. If we ever meet.....
Anti-IWRATS is entirely normal
Given you claim the only difference is attitude to bike thieves I forbear to comment.
Generous cyclist in hiviz yellow brushing away glass at the east end of the Innocent. Thanks!
Mountain bike with petrol motor on Milton Road E. Rather loud compared to an electric version.
I went to see Brian Cox the other day at the Playhouse, so I now understand there's an infinite number of IWRATSs and at least one of them is happily pedaling around with the original caliper clamp retaining bolts intact.
Chap on his bike-wheeled scooter along the Broomhouse path again. See him quite frequently as I head home along that route.
He's no longer clad from head to toes in HiViz, which I always thought looked like overkill for scooting!
'Spotted', as in 'had a nice chat with' MrSRD and microSRD at The Cycle Service this afternoon. Then we cycled in convoy as far as NMW.
AntiIWRATS = IWWATS
Splendid convoy on the towpath this evening. In front was a lad on a nice bike: he was four, apparently. Behind him was a Helios with small stoker and even smaller Yepp sitter. The stoker seemed to be asleep and attached solely by friction. Behind them was a woman towing a nice Burleigh trailer with uncounted occupants.
I did gently wonder if @chrisfl might know them...
@Dave making good progress west on the towpath this evening. He was sporting some decidedly non-aero headphones.
Not a human in sight.
Not at the Waterfront.
Gembo coming off the canal at Harrison Park this morning!
