@gembo, I merely report what it says on their sign. You must take it up with them!

@LaidBack oh, more than I thought. Btw I was in Bonn's Velo City last month and they had a truly epic cargo bike outside. Someone (probbably Kim?) identified from my phone picture as Urban Arrow-based.

Iwrats - I went to the Multrees Walk presentation via a loop round Picardy Place cyclists blender just to remind myself how big a space is at stake.

Bumped into @Claire at the event, who was doing a better job of not looking like a cyclist than I was, although our panniers probably gave it away.

We even managed a nice chatty ride back across town afterwards comparing notes on what we heard.

Mrs Garto has spotted a cyclist entering Balerno wearing a very fetching Kingfisher blue top. She claims it was attractive and visible so eye catching in two senses.

Anyone any ideas as I might be in for a Christmas present.

Reclining around NL last two weeks we were on look out for unusual bikes.

Most odd thing we saw was the Stint Urban Mobility EVs as used by Dutch post and TNT etc in Amsterdam. City is rammed with small vans and these narrower vehicles can use bike lanes of course. No pedalling required / controller stands. This company has a whole range of non active e-vs. NL is at home with the motor scooters (Brommer) using fietsdpads so no surprise that these may appear.

In Enkhuisen at Zuider Zee Museum we saw this old postal Gazelle trike.

    For Daniel

The woman I think of as lilac helmet woman has ditched her purple lid and is now wearing black plastic

Chap who bombs along towpath in white t shirt and black padded shorts. Was consoling a very wet and muddy dude who had clearly gone in.

White t shirt guy had overtaken me before this but came up behind me later at the aqueduct and said he had chanced upon the boy who fell in the drink another speedy Gonzalez had been up ahead but he had not stopped. Strangely white t shirt lad did not re-overtake me

Snowy on way in and then on way back he was being fleeced by the Sustrans people

City looking gorgeous in evening sun so trek home from office in the deepest west end was fantastic. Spotted some unknown vistas in my own city.

Also a guy riding a classily restored Dawes tourer up the Mound. Massively over-geared at the front and eschewing the biggest cog at the back, which was odd. Really toiling. Hope he doesn't expect to tour Scotland on it.

The @unhurt reciting poetry in their head (Gender-neutral pronoun there despite them claiming to have ovaries on here. Could be a Wasp Factory thing.) on the way home.

Then the return of the Cameron Toll lion. Spanish lady, a heavy metal dude and me all fighting for its affections. Collar said 'noli me tangere'....

@iwrats, before leaving work, did you eat some slender mushrooms with the little elf peak cap like a nipple?

Saw some people out by The Black Springs ( pronounce in pirate voice! On Saturday. Who could only have been foraging for 'shrooms, magic or otherwise

Not since that last time in the meadow above Grantown on Spey with the blue flowers.

We're still in the edit window. I can pare it back to clinically observed facts if you'd like?

Hey! I've never catapulted a hamster in my life. (I'm also quite fond of both Women and the Sea.)

Was that a wave or a salute btw?

Not necessary it all makes sense except the bit where the cat has Latin for Touch Me Not on it's collar and the bit about unhurt's gender. Apart from that all perfectly understandable now I have had my tea

No, I cycled past tonight and the door was open. New laminate floor, chairs that move, no punters but the very big outdoor red bin, like a tenement communal recycling bin, inside the pub

    I'm up for Oman's.

Canondale Slate full spec at Cameron Toll bike racks. £2,000 to commute round Edinburgh. Nice guy.

    The lion wasn't there.

An orange elephant-bike shaped object heading up Leith Street which I presume was a distant Crowriver en Pronto.

Spotted Hankchief and the chieflets on this morning. Unable to connect for a High 15 as we were on opposite sides of Corstorphine Rd and separated by an airport bus.

@Roibeard this morning on a non-Brompton. I rudely peeled off to the right mid-sentence

@algo - no worries, I was distracted by ensuring I had evidence for grumping to the Licensing Office!

The Union Canal episode of Landward is now available on iPlayer. I'm not spottable on it, but a number cyclists do pass by them.

In fact, there will be more Union Canal in the next episode but not within Edinburgh.

2 police persons investigating the bikes on the Haymarket racks. According to Jimmy the Big Issue vendor, there has been a series of thefts from those racks. Apparently the CCTV cameras don't cover the racks...

Cycle racks outside a train station, so you know that if the bike is there the owner is probably in a different town... but no security. Brilliant.
