It was actually Mrs spyt that spotted. Well done you.
It hasn't brought me back for good.
I deleted my Facebook account and realised I had no other way to contact.

“Mr once in a blue moon”

    You’re not alone.

There are people who post most days, others who register and don’t make their first post for several years.

People come, go and more than a few come back to add something of interest.

    Personal choice.

Just spotted that we all failed to spot @gembo branding @Stickman as 'sickman'.

Also @SRD all over the papers, brilliant. Must be fun when your field of research suddenly turns upside down.

Stickman is paisley's answer to sick boy?

Spotted CCE'rs at the Picardy Place consultation yesterday.

Apologies for (deliberately!) not acknowledging you, as I didn't wish to give the misapprehension that there was some sort of organised delegation, which might have reduced the weight given to individual's opinions.

Hankchief, Walking to work this morning, although dressed in cycling gear. I was also walking. Perhaps the Helios stream crossing a few weeks ago has caused some kind of rupture after all.

    Guilty as charged.

Having been to the pub straight from work recently, I had a bike gathering dust at work.

Given it didn't end well last time I tried to bring two bikes home, so decided to walk in to collect it.

An Urban Arrow with baby installed c. 2pm outside Tribe Yoga on Northumberland Street / Howe Street.

Anyone know the modal share for skateboarding-as-transport? Counted at least five skateboards on my way home tonight.

Was it actually mobile at the time?

@frenchy, no, it was parked up, I would not have fancied cycling it into the northerly wind today.

Christiana cargo trike going along Mayfield Road towards KB. Have seen it many many times parked at KB, but this was the first time I've seen it being ridden.

Yesterday saw someone on a bronze Pedersen on Old Dalkeith Road.

Just met the best of dogs in cafe near flat - a husky/whippet cross called Sasha. Softest of marbled grey fur, wonderful mismatched eyes, sweet and friendly, and apparently as lazy as the laziest whippet. Discussed the Greyhound Lending Library with her people.

HankChief with the "big rig" in Roseburn on Saturday. I see he has one of those fancy flashing helmets.

Big John at the west end of Slateford Aqueduct. Brief life and film chat was had before he had to shoot off, offering seasonal best wishes because we don't bump into each other much these days now that he has moved away from Edinburgh.

Saw someone on the NEPN this morning sporting 'what i think' were these lights:

    https://revolights.com/

NB: website plays music when visited

seemed a bit 'weird' to me at first glance; don't think i'd replace my normal lights with them but they looked cool none the less.

@fimm - did you notice the cackling stoker?

To liven things up teach them road skilz I've given them the buttons controlling the turn signals :-)

And you've agreed to go wherever they signal, right? In order to teach them that actions have consequences.

@HankChief I recall a very hi-vis stoker - I was too busy thinking "That must be HankChief's 'big rig'". I was over the other side of the road by the footbridge.

We were on an important mission to George Street to hand deliver Murrayfield Church's application to become an Eco Friendly congregation, so got special dispensation to take the wee one into town by bike (we don't usually).

Good to see members of the local community recognising the importance of the environment :-)

Gembo, commencing the Canal High Five. I aborted though, partly because it was a narrow bit but mainly because Gembo had someone on his wheel again and I didn't want to cause undue alarm to a fellow cyclist again, so soon...

Was a bit narrow.that cat sucked my wheel a fair bit so he heard me shouting at the moorhen not to fly in front of me.

Also me shouting clear back to him at every bridge.

You'd think a man who can speak with the moorhens would get more respect.
