    Spotted Uberuce this morning about 0925, heading out of town just past Fairmilehead. I was in disguise on a bus, because, well, I was working in town and rather fancied not having a cycling day.

    First time I've ever been a witness to a spot...

    I was waiting at the bus stop on St John's Road and an approaching cyclist gave a wave across the road; I turned to see HankChief returning the wave.

    I felt like David Attenborough observing an exotic species.

    That was @Kenny who used to post on here.

    I wonder if we can beat that by having someone spot someone spotting someone spotting someone...

    Spotted SRD hightailin' it up MMW during PY Jan. The Lumos helmet looks amazing and is VERY visible!

    @Hankchief does arellcat not do that in the post below yours? In so far as I was spotting wing pig while being spotted by arellcat?

    (although not sure a PY spot entirely counts)

    Remarkably, I spotted another Lumos helmet today, as I was questioning my sanity as I winched the Elephant Bike up Liberton Brae* at about 6pm. Lumos man was whizzing down the hill.

    Welcome, CyclingManic! Hope to see you posting more. :-)

    * I had to stop twice for a rest - but still ascended faster than another rider.

    There was that other elephant bike going up MMW, too, but they're perhaps common enough now to be unremarkable. The bike was the wrong colour to be the Elephant of Wilmington and the rider wasn't bearded enough to be kaputnik.

    Definitely a herd of them. The other was Rory Redbesrd's. His has big wicker basket. Lives on canal boat. Has wee dog ever so cute, works for the cooncil. I see it parked in the bike racks, standing out from the other hundred bikes. He calls it Colonel Haithi. (Untrue)

    My other bike, by a lovely young Deliveroo thing who was very taken with the Longitude at the lights on Sunday Clerk Street last night. I felt like a proud parent!

    Was that @LaidBack right at the back of the SSE Hydro gods for Celtic Connections last night?

    @iwrats - Was that @LaidBack right at the back of the SSE Hydro gods for Celtic Connections last night? - yes.

    I'm hopeless with spots, sorry. Were you waving at me?

    @LaidBack

    Were you waving at me?

    Oh no, I was a good fifty metres away and you were engrossed with your pals. It was a good slice of a certain section of Scotland and we seemed to spot a fair few acquaintances.

    Good concert but I felt sorry for Danny operating at 50% with everyone else flat out.

    @iwrats Good decision for Danny to get Ali Clarkson to do second set though.
    How many people were there I wonder? Maybe one of the biggest live audiences anywhere for a bike related indoor happening.

    A certain section of Scotland - I like that! Ages were more diverse than just bus passers.
    We had 8 year old girl with family alongside. Nintendo with headphones on but did seem to enjoy it. Someone had brought a tiny baby too - should have had ear protectors!
    The food and drink franchises are pretty poor.

    SRD and, separately, a very mini SRD. chdot. Myself.

    Not seen in real life, but observed on YouTube while watching a video about the Harrison Park Feeder Ride in 2014, in preparation for my submission to the council to let us do one in 2018.

    The 2014 HP Feeder Ride was 'the one with the Police'. Let's hope 2018 is the same...

    A grand looking e-bike with youngling in the trailer at the lights on the Broomhouse path, fast as! However and I don't mean to criticise but the back light on the seat post was completely obscured by the trailer, might be worth adding a light to it as well as a bit of belts a braces

    Was spotted by Mr SRD as I was going ahead from Tarvit St. He was doing the 'researched' right turn towards Valley field.
    Was following a red light jumping Fiat 500 going round onto Gilmore place from Home St.
    As I was on the 30kg Bosch assisted coolbox on wheels from UA an easy spot.
    Had our first Mavic Tubeless 700c Open Pro wheelset for a Nazca - Schwalbe One tyres put on by Bike Works as tubeless are verrry tight. Red Rohloff and SON. Big coolbox quite secure way to carry such loads.

    Lilac Helmet Lady is back (ablet no longer wearing a lilac helmet)! I only just spotted her since she was positined just behind another cyclist (possibly about to overtake had I not been coming in the other direction), but I hopefully managed a slightly surprised smile at her.

    Spotted on the back of an HSS Hire 4x4;

    Pedestrians: do not walk near this vehicle under any circumstances.

    Presumably best to avoid eye contact, spilling its pint etc.
