Spotted someone from Portyvelo at BAE Systems/Marconi/GEC/Leonardo (take your pick) on the NEPN, and waved, but I can't recall your name.

    Jackson Priest?

Yes, sorry - I did, but just too late to wave back as my tired brain processed it was you!

Heard the voice of what I'm sure was @Algo behind me at Bruntsfield toucan while waiting to turn left. Was ghosting an e-bike from my recliner so rear mirror was not in good postion and couldn't really look round. Maybe wasn't him but someone called so knew who I was (!)

@LaidBack - yes that was me (+2) - as always extraordinary piloting skills - we saw you crossing the links while plodding our way up from the Barclay Church - amazing how from the side the bike you were holding looked like it was riding itself..... I had to work quite hard to catch up so the kids could figure out what was going on :-)

@algo ta - ghosting actually easier on a lower bike as you don't get bars hitting together. Only works going from lower to higher though!

.. just saw the ultimate way of carrying a bike through town. Was walking with Mrs LB across Waverley Bridge and spotted a man riding a bike whilst wearing another over his shoulder - clearly in a hurry for a train. Both bikes were lighter models from last century. The rider may have been from that period too ;-) (chdot!) Never mind about ghosting... this was much faster. Taxi man very impressed!

anyone spotted me not very successfully carting various bits of children's bikes across to cycle service? i should try chdot's technique.

    “i should try chdot's technique”

Only works if bike frame is big enough to go over head and on shoulders.

@nelly, that is very true. The entourage out in force. Mother's Day, but not my mother, she is away at Trump Turnberry where I refuse to go commemorating my old man's demise 8 years ago today by chucking golf balls into the sea from the open championship 9th tea which is a beautiful place with seals and rare birds but not now with that ginger brillopad haired bar steward owning it.

@wingpig doing his post-PoP meeting shopping with sufficient intensity that he didn't spot me in the distance by the yogurt raising an eyebrow or two in greeting.

@IWRATS In Aldi or the Sainsburium? I was rushing and left my bogroll at the till, though had apparently put the divider in the wrong place and so had not actually bought them when I went back to retrieve them.

@Arellcat's topedo outside my best friend's workplace by one of her colleagues.

him: "Look at that. Is it a bike? I think it's a bike?"
her: "Oh! Isn't that a recumbent with a sort of carapace?"
him: "No, no, it's one of those special bikes you ride lying down."

One of my colleagues is now stalking getting regular spots of Hanchief's big bike and rider(s). He would like to know why HC need 4 loaded panniers.
