Last Thursday I was changing an inner tube (as you do) on the Cramond Slip Road when I spotted a recumbent and rider crossing over the slip road to the underpass heading for the Burnshot Road.

@Dave on the towpath this morning making good eastbound progress towing a trailer with two curly-haired mini-Daves in it, both of whom seemed very happy indeed.

Tree Squad Alpha with a crane, tractor, truck etc. on North Meadow Walk by the tennis courts. Enough space to pass on the ped side.

Half a dozen chaps in civvies on lime green and black commuter type bikes coming down the Bridges. I don't even know if they were all together but the bikes were the same. Anyone any ideas?

Exchanged a high-five with a westbound @gembo by the aqueduct, followed shortly by a wave from @Dave. I was talking to a friendly chap I used to see a lot and now see less often who I think is called Scot. I was trying to persuade him of the merits of Ride to the Sun.

@greenroofer looks like @acsimpson and @gembo are doing ride to the sun and @davec

@dave came along to the Balerno cinema tonight. We put on Breaking Away as part of @EdFoc. Still a great feel good movie. Think he enjoyed.

Whilst cycling along Liberton Road I caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye of a car overtaking me. I hadn't heard it coming, so for a fraction of a second I was thinking "That's a very quiet car". Nope, @Arellcat in a torpedo.

@Arellcat was giving a presentation on the evolution and engineering of said torpedo earlier - pretty cool!

@Frenchy, did you turn left for Gilmerton Road just after Cameron Toll? I was pressing on a bit, I must admit: made it from Pecha Caka to Roslin in 31 minutes.

@unhurt, thanks! Was a bit nervous a few minutes before but actually I really enjoyed it!

Just remembered, pre-Frenchy spot, I spotted a studenty kind of guy on a burgundy-red Paper Bicycle, heading into town on South Clerk Street opposite the Sainsbury's at Bernard St. He was busy trying to take a photo of the torpedo, but was bowled by a taxi and a car when the green light came on.

I saw him from the bus but couldn't get a clear view of his strange machine.

Elliptigo spotted again in the south of the city.

I suspect that these are rapidly becoming the most popular "cycle" in the city based on the frequency of spots.

Alternatively, there is just one, but it's so eyecatching that its existence is noteworthy!

*waves* if you're on CCE, I'm sure many of us would line up for a shot...

Oooh, yes! Pretty sure I'd not get far before being puffed out but the whole concept intrigues me.

I might have been behind Roibeard on NMW this morning. Wasn't sure enough to shout.

@wingpig - given the racing morons you mention, I suspect it was me.

Given that I'm avoiding MMW at the moment, I have to cross it, and hopefully manage it courteously however I'm not certain I always manage it - glad you thought I slowed and watched!

I saw you heading home on Saturday afternoon if that helps? Too far to hail you.

I spot that Elliptigo parked outside a coffee shop on George St a few times a month.

I was riding past St Andrew's House this morning on the Elephant Bike, and was spotted and loudly hailed by someone I didn't have time to recognise. Anyone here?

I spotted AlanR on Tuesday while I was going up and down Morningside trying to find somewhere foody that was actually open at 6.30pm.

Roibeard exiting from NMW onto Chalmers Street a moment before I did the reverse. It took me slightly too long to process this information and I failed to hail him.
