“an active member of Edinburgh's shadowy cycling mafia”
Will that cause problems??

riding a recumbent, pulling a trailer on which was a boxed recumbent. Positively recursive
The Earth sits on a recumbent. But what holds up that recumbent? Another larger recumbent.
"It's recumbents all the way down, Goddammit!"

@Willmington - Sparkle still at work. Blocked the chimney on the range off just in case she heads up the lum!
@NiallA - yes 10-50 - chainrings on back with a 40T sprocket on front. So far it's been fine but have a 12 speed link just in case.
@neddie - All makes sense in the recumbent world!Posted 5 years ago # -

The fundamental is the Avatar 2000, on whose
shouldersseat all modern recumbents stand.Posted 5 years ago # -
Two people with two ferrets on two leads on the WoL.

Stop it. The pair of you.

I came to spot Laidback wheeling a recumbent with a animal in a carrier on the seat. However too late. He purposely paced past my place of productivity (work) early yesterday morning.

Like the mustard?
Posted 5 years ago # -
Like the forum member, I assumed. Doesn't say it's for people, could be a podenco pampering parlour?
Posted 5 years ago # -
I don't think dogs like mustard.

@edinburghcyclecam? Canal towpath near Broxburn. Black tee with red razor blade motif

Spotted a Helios tandem between Cousland and Carberry, roughly at the bridge over the old railway at Crossgatehall.
Posted 5 years ago # -
I also saw two folk riding a tandem today, between Loanhead and Gilmerton.
Posted 5 years ago # -
Tandem went through almondell country park when we were eating our ice creams. Family I recognised. Elder brother on his own on front, we brother in tandem with parent, various others in the peloton

That was indeed me - this t-shirt. And helmet probably slung across the front of my bike since it was acting as a fantastic greenfly-catcher.
I didn't spot you :(Posted 5 years ago # -
Not cycling related
Unfortunately!

Glasgow! That’s going to be an expensive hire...Posted 5 years ago # -

May well have been Javi from Bike Works and family test riding our demo e-Helios. They said they had a lot of fun once they got used to having everyone on the bike! Childseat on back?

Spotted the hi speed Azuma train leaving Waverley yesterday and heading east. Trial I think as only humans I saw were right up the front. also not running that way? Spotter was filming it if anyone likes watching short videos of trains I imagine on a youtube channel
Looked great. Had huge bike logo on the bike carriage at the front (not a carriage for bikes just the carriage to put your bikes in) and big wheelchair logo on rear carriage.

Took the train to North Berwick this morning. I saw a chap with a hybrid-style bike get on at Waverley. At Drem (I think) he was riding along the road beside the train. I assume he got off at an earlier stop and kept up with train for at least one stop, perhaps two. There was quite a tailwind.
Posted 5 years ago # -
That's impressive. The train apparently takes 6 minutes to travel the 4.5 miles from Longniddry to Drem (45 mph).
Even adding on a couple of minutes stop at each end, your cyclist must have been averaging almost 30mph.
EDIT: I wonder if there are any suggestible readers of CCE who might fancy recreating http://www.naden.de/blog/bbvideo-bbpress-video-plugin -->

I've raced the tram down Princes Street in the evenings before. I'm sure there's a terrible YouTube video that could be made out of that...

Spotted Alf C (audax sort of guy, customer of LB) in Lidl in Penicuik, and had a nice catch-up at the bike racks afterwards.

Second Sunday in a row I spotted @edinburghcyclecam. I was in marks and Spencer's doorway cafe at the gyle @ECC was accessing said emporium
