Jeans! I was actually there on Saturday buying smalls (And the first pair of jeans that I discovered fit really well, so went back on Sunday to get a few more pairs).

Another in my occasional series of appropriate spots: @twinspark washing a car (in the rain). The car was, appropriately and unsurprisingly, an Alfa twinspark...

Yes - The level of bird muck on it had got to completely inappropriate levels. The latest was clearly from some kind of flying cow! Thought I would save water and rinsing... of course the rain has now stopped!

in Glasgow today. Fair bit of pavement cycling. One chap down by the Broomielaw had an almost Aero lid on back to front. I felt compelled to tell him.

The tiny stretch of cycle lane at the north of Picardy Place is starting to appear. Half expecting the traffic light to be left there.

I see they've left a lamppost and a sign post in the middle of it.

I wonder if they'll wait for the shouts of the "vociferous cycle lobby" before they bother to move them?

Time trial riders and officials on the road between Ladybank and Markinch yesterday evening. A pleasant surprise to see a string of riders in aero helmets from the train window.

UPDATE: According to "George's Cycling Page" it was the 9.7 mile "Hilly TT" commencing at 7.01 pm near Freuchie.

spotted @wingpig this morning and tried to pass off my high-five attempt as a flamboyant wave

I was worried about wobbling into the person on your right so just waved. Earlier on I was alarmed at gembo doing fist-pumps whilst going over the ruts and speedbumps of Rankeillor At.

@wingpig - thanks that was considerate - I knew said person - a disastrous collision would have been impolitic

I rudely pestered a person who turned out to be @DrAfternoon this afternoon after spotting his excellent trailer.

@gembo, moistly on the towpath this evening.

This was after being a bit stuck behind some kind of guided ride heading east near Sighthill. At least one of the riders seemed to be struggling a bit (it was a grim day to be out on a bike for fun), and they were all taking it very slowly, but seemed a bit unaware of the other traffic on the path and so were collecting quite a queue.

@greenroofer, aye one seemed to be taking a tow off person in front by holding on to their shoulder?

Gembo heading down the Lanark Road this morning. I nearly failed to make the spot as he was not wearing his pink top.

Lots of the all-powerful Edinburgh cycle lobby at Open Streets today.

    FTFY.

Spotted the ever colourful Elaine Davidson on the High Street amongst tourists, as I headed towards the Grassmarket. Met Kim on West Bow, then Tulyar arrived, then Mies from Spokes arrived, then spotted Urchaidh and family ascending towards George IV Bridge. Watched a showman on the High Street but it wasn't Rugg Tomcat. Spotted Family Urchaidh later on the Canongate, plus Kirsty Lewin, plus Daisy Narayanan. The mighty gembo stopped by, with minigembo in tow. There was a rumour of another but I didn't see them.
