Indeed... I did ask in passing if they were all ok but was ignored. I suspect that the person without a bicycle was mediating between the other two, but may have misread the situation.

@jdanielp - ah that explains it! At about 1800 I stopped to let a guy dressed all in black pass me on the aqueduct. He was heading out of town, and put his road bike on his shoulder as he passed me. When I came by I noticed he was absolutely dripping wet, so much so that he must have been in the canal rather than just very sweaty, and was leaving wet footprints behind him. There was no wet patch by the aqueduct, so maybe he was one of yours.

    He seemed reasonably cheerful though.

The canal pusher inner, accompanied on this occasion by a dog, shouted at me from a distance as I crossed Research Avenue North while leaving Heriot-Watt yesterday evening.

@jdanielp on the towpath heading into town. I was on my way to the allotment, where I still am. I am currently cowering in the shed hoping the rain will abate before I can ride home.

The over-ripe raspberries will be a coulis by the time they have travelled home in my panier.

@Greenroofer ah, I was wondering why you were heading in the direction of work so late in the day.

Spotted an early version of the Van Moof in Cambs. Yesterday - had a titanium look and a strengthening bar between cross bar and down tube, Looked odd.

Parts of George Street are closed with temp cycle access right now. It's a bit rubbish at the moment making you go the wrong way through the traffic lights at Hanover Street.

Had a car follow me which was both hilarious when we got to the concrete barrier and concerning that they actually went that far.

From my perspective, gembo seemingly emerged from under the canal bridge at Boroughmuir with his arm outstretched for a high five before having been able to see me... ESP?

I went through the tunnel last week and was shocked how bright it is now it was brighter than the path on a sunny day.

Another spot in Roseburn, Kaputnik and mini-Kaputnik (not nearly as mini as last time I seen him!) on tandem on the way to unknown.

So that is likely the old version Smart bike (non electric) which has a chain lock hidden inside the frame! Quite an interesting set up.

Spotted Gembo this morning but we don't high 5.

@Dave this morning on the towpath towing a child trailer eastwards. There appeared to be some additional contraption attached to the trailer and projecting into the air, but he was going at such a speed (as is his wont) that I didn't work out what it was before he had vanished into the distance.

@Dave has been using an e-bike from us for trailer hauling shared duty.
Of course he is 'quite fast' even without!

I spotted the British coast tourer, this morning. This is the chap who is homeless, and cycle touring Britain, to help raise awareness of PTSD in former service personnel. I waved but was going fast down hill and didn't get a chance to stop.
