I was on the bus, admiring your road position and signalling. Proper CCE riding style.

Meant to say spotted kaputnik cycling up the hill near the crags the other day. Did not know that was his route. He offered that he is not getting any younger

I've been feeling discombobulated for some days, having spotted Lilac Helmet Lady on the towpath with a grey helmet and grey jacket, which didn't seem right somehow. All is now well with the world, however, as I passed her this evening in a luminous pink jacket. The natural order of things is restored.

"Was that a young @HankChief winning star baker on Bake Off?"

@IWARTS I think you mean winning the technical challenge. The star baker was a lady. I am just saying this in case @HankChief was confused.

I'm on catch-up. Young @HankChief told the scouse doughball to 'shut up'. Could be a previous episode?

@IWARTS Did they make pastry/pies or festive bakes? Pastry was last night, festive bakes last week.

I know my memory is starting to fade, but I would have hoped I'd have remembered being on bake off but currently getting a mental blank.

Do you think I should go sniff some flour in the hope that it triggers a memory?

He thinks all people called Henry are Hankchiefs?

    For example

    US diplomat Old Hank chief
    British Boxer Our Hankchief
    Tudor Monarch King Hankchief

Plain clothes policeman disguised as a Deliveroo rider on a tricked-up e-bike in Newington.

Engaged in a tailing operation if I understood the radio chatter.

    Great cover.

Someone on Old Dalkeith Road riding a folding fat e-bike ("folding e-fat bike"? "e-folding fat bike"?).

Korma has returned to the Easter Hailes gait tunnel, balerno end. Grey paint canvas. Korma has created one big mentchie and one small mentchie next to the tunnel sign. Another graffiti artiste has heckled Korma’s big mentchie. apparently a Drunken Mess

Given the mention of Green News, does anyone who receives these communications from Edinburgh Greens have any quick feedback? I'm increasingly involved in making City Centre editions and it would be useful to know what works or not.

A terrible affliction seems to have hit several bikes in Marchmont - I hope it's not contagious but I've seen 3 now...

@algo - Seen it a few times when doing Bikeability. On one occasion parent had loosened handlebars and turned to get into car. Other cases were brand new bikes from (cough) bike shop A and (cough, cough) bike shop B.

Possibly these are student bikes from said (cough, cough) establishments?!?!
