Spotted neddie and Mrs neddie sitting out in the sun yesterday while escorting my youngest who has got the hang of gears remarkably quickly. Followed by the usual roar of some eejit doing well over 30 on what should be a quiet residential street. Later on I had to deliver some stuff and took the van and drove behind Morningsider riding northbound into Morningside on his excellent Gazelle.

Some poor lost dude cycling up the ramp onto the approach road at murrayfield. That hill would be enough to put me off never mind the no cycling sign.

A couple riding burger bikes at Cammo tower. Having ridden across the field to get there.
I suggested they make an attempt at Maudsley Hill but they declined.

This plane (D-FIBE probably, or at least the same model) has been doing these survey patterns over Scotland for a couple of years. LIDAR ground mapping I believe.

Pilatus PC-6 Porter according to that site. Surely the 5G conspiracy mob need to know about these flights?

Mum and teenage son riding brand new bikes down the pavement of Gilmerton Road. Barely wide enough to walk two abreast.

I happened to be near the airport when ATC took a break from whatever they do these days to keep themselves busy. 3 planes (presumably cargo) took off one after another heading in different directions. The one which flew out East looked like it had black smoke trailing from it. Either it was a regular contrail lit in such a way that it appeared worse than usual or it really was pumping out visible exhaust fumes into the clear air.

Good news is particularly welcome these days. Well done to all those responsible!

I was passed by 5 Ranger van/flatbed/Jeep things favoured by farmers for sheep, builders for aggregate and tossers for posing. All going at 80mph

Last one littering my clean highway

Also loads of roadkill crows, pheasant, pigeon, rabbit, squirrel, mouse - think the critters caught out by UN lockdown?

Wasting a bit of time on Flightradar link (thanks, @arellcat) it looks like the gliding club up at Kinross is back in business.

...looks like the gliding club up at Kinross is back in business.

    Not really business though.

Limited flying activities where social distancing permits, most if not all staff still furloughed.

No onsite refreshments available, I'm not sure if that means the clubhouse is locked.

Still they are in the air again.

I'm an ex-member but still get their newsletter.
