Spotted apple pie prices are up
Still half the price of any other cafe
#2.50 for espresso and rhubarb pie
Rhubarb pie was still warm

CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Was not allowed owner’s cup
Did sit inside on wee window ledge metres away, I had mask in, no one else did
Said hello to someone on a recumbent on the Moor Road yesterday morning - was that Mr Laidback himself?
@ fimm - No, maybe Alf. PBP 2011 completer and alround Audaxer. Unless @Dave has gone reclined.
Tomorrow thinking of doing circuit out that way.
@ Laidback my first reaction was that it was not you, then I thought it was, so I gave a big cheerful "hello" and then I wasn't sure. It was one of those 'bents where the rider is surprisingly high off the ground, so it would not surprise me that it was an Audaxer...
'The property lies in a quiet cul-de-sac...' but let's not mention that it's literally nextdoor to Edinburgh airport: https://espc.com/property/28-lennymuir-edinburgh-eh12-0ap/35859262?sid=525639
Someone on Drum Street riding some sort of electric scooter. Like a kick scooter in terms of number/size of wheels and handlebar design, but it had a seat.
Our own Kaputnik sharing his magnificent octopus google earth recreation of the Balerno Branch line over on facebook
Fab
@JELBERENCE has posted and I feel like I've seen Haley's comet.
Big, grey C-17A heading east at 14:55.
@wingpig we saw (first heard than saw) it a bit earlier, probably about 14:40 heading west over Livingston. We also heard some very loud aircraft couple of hours earlier. Might have been the same but I couldn't be asked to move my bottom and see it.
The Lang Whang Wombles appear to be up to something around fly tipping in various lay bys of the a70. MIght impact on some of the other users of these lay-bys too.
Posts that look like camera mounts....
Could be wrong. Will keep my eyes peeled for developments
I am not ordinarily a tandem fan, but a very cheery spot and chat today with Colin and partner (I believe), coincidentally on the bike bus route we often rode together, may have persuaded me otherwise - a beautiful 531 handbuilt frame made me and the kids swoon...
Policeman having a word with a driver who drove into the ASL against a red light, without good reason, at the Mount Vernon Road / Glimerton Road junction, while we were waiting for the vigil in memory of James Harrison this morning.
Lots of people who I haven't seen in ages.
YEs spotted Wilmer
also Recumboris, Neddie, EdCyclCam, Unhurt, IWRATS,Algo, ARobComp, ACSimpson, IainnMcr, LaidbACK, Kaputnik
AND MANY more
Shhh
That looks like a cabal
Ageless freeloader <fakename>Gandalf</fakename> seducing a couple of new marks on Melville Terrace.
He is the Colin Robinson of Jugglers
Mr G pulling a wheelie to depart Mount Vernon earlier/
It was a bold move. Should have known you know him.
Mr G appears not to have aged one day in the almost 20 years his mechanical genius has been fixing my bikes.
A multitude of maskèd police at Holyrood and along Holyrood Road and at the corner of the Pleasance.
Ooh, nice use of the accent on maskéd, @wingpig. In these Shakespearean pandemicky times...
Lots of people out on bikes despite the drizzle on my jaunt to the supermarket. Unaccompanied by Cllr Cook despite my kind offer to share the experience of going grocery shopping by bike in his ward.
@Ribena, our man goes way back beyond Elizabethan to the green Chrysaor
Some youth-oaves throwing their bikes down into the WoL from the north flood wall at Murrayfield. I was slightly relieved when I came abreast of them as it jad looked like they were preparing to ride down the wall then across the river.
Yesterday we went down the lyne valley from Romano Bridge was fab. (Just at the turn on the A701 there is a little hamlet still part of romano bridge I think and has toll house and a strange tenement that would look more in keeping in west end Glasgow).
Second spot after we had gone down the busy Peebles road and turned onto the Stobo road was a small collection of tents up a field. Each of the modern bender style tent came complete with its own gazebo. Well prepared for the rain.
Me, on someone else’s Strava feed. Well, my virtual version at least. Did a Zwift race today due to high winds outside. Ended up in someone else’s snapshot.
