@Rosie: the tandem group for vision-impaired have been out and about in the evenings recently (can’t remember their name) - might have been them?

@Stickman - oh cool. They were just too fast for me to get a photo.
    @Frenchy - thanks.

LaidBack, I think, on Barnton Avenue West.

@fimm - was that you I was chatting with towards Cramond Brig or another mystery forumer? (embarrassing I know but riding recumbent everyone knows/thinks it's me!)

I did two runs out to Forth Bridge. One on Sat and another on Sun.

Yesterday three large groups went out towards Forth Bridge. Not sure what the reason was. Not Spokes?

Family, including two kids in the front of an Urban Arrow, cycling into Midlothian on the Gilmerton-Roslin path.

Big smiles on everybody's faces, and kids in the cargo bike continuously making happy noises. Joyous.

Spotted @lollercake this morning, powering his way into town up the High St, I think. I can't remember his CCE handle.

Then a short time after, I bumped into @Kaputnik as we were making our way past Meadowbank to the excavated remains of St Margaret's Depot, and we had a jolly good chat about trains and history.

Was that @SRD sticking out of a bush on the towpath near Slateford Aqueduct this evening, accompanied by micro-SRD? One of many people blackberrying.

I didn't stop to say hello as I was daydreaming and some way past you before the facial-recognition processes completed their analysis and sent an alert to my consciousness.

It has been an amazing year for fruit. There are blackberries everywhere. Our blueberry bushes at the allotment have produced enough this year for us to consider making jam with them, which means for the first time we've had enough blueberries for it not to be cheaper to buy them from Waitrose...

    ‘Fraid not.

How many points do we deduct for a failed spot?

Well I never! I could have sworn that it was micro-SRD that I saw. There were bikes and everything.

Many points to be deducted I fear...

I'll return the spot with one of @laidback doing some epic cargo biking.... which is such a common occurrence it hardly seems noteworthy any more

Anyone know what's down here, or why someone thinks walking there isn't allowed?

As far as I know there isn't much of anything down that track. It used to cross the burn and then immediately turn west, and rejoined the B-road a short way to the south, just by the little cottage. But that was when the A1 was Milton Road East and wound its way through Musselburgh and Tranent; the A1 taking itself through New and Old Craighall obliterated that section of the old track.
