Was passed today by a big silver Merc EgoPram. Registration was 'V9 CCE' - belong to anyone on here?

    (MOT expired, obviously)

Fail to spot Gembo's cakey colleague in time to properly return the greeting this morning. @Gembo - please pass on my apologies for being half asleep.

Mad Jack McMad the proprietor of the Cafe down near Silverknowes is ranting and raving about a road closure, on his business Facebook page.

Looks like some infrastructure going in and he is either ignorant or at it.

Shame as he could get business by being a destination. The Apple Pie in Carnwath embraces cyclists though the embrace of Lorna Doll is sub optimal.

Spotted Gembo himself in the Meadows today. Received a satisfactorily loud greeting.

Silverknowes cafe boy is indeed well off his trolley. Collection of hashtags on his post is quite something. I'm apparently banned from the place due to comments on Twitter - a proud member of 'Sargent Frothers Boardwalk Beach Club Banned'.

It's a fair trek but the macaroni pies at the Apple Pie bakery are worth the round trip.
Also 'Sargent Frothers Boardwalk Beach Club Banned' deserves a round of applause.

I had a minor brainfart on my wee lunchtime spin where I only realised I'd forgotten to put my helmet on when I got to the end of my ride!

Was lovely to see you @urchaidh, if only briefly. I too like your Sargent Frother moniker.

@mcairney I too am a fan of the wee macaroni pie from the Apple Pie. Slight tension when they have none in the oven. I have asked for them to be micro waved which is against the Rule of. Audrey the Owner.

At the Apple pie today Lorna Doll is guisin as Cat Woman? Could be scariest thing I have seen in a while

Last time I was in there were no warm macaroni pies. I asked for a cold one but the staff seemed to think such a thing would be unpalatable so I opted for something else.

@acsimpson Yes the cold ones are not good. Hence my illegal microwave request

I have started a campaign at the Douglas Bakery to get Jamie to add macaroni pie to his roster.

Vegetarianism ends at Carnwath and they ain’t never heard of no Vegans

I was spotted by @urchaidh in disguise as a car driver, yesterday afternoon up at Gowkley Moss.

@Arellcat, did you spot us, I did flash my lights and wave? Had a car full of refugees from Biggar, all giddy with the excitement of nearly being back in Edinburgh.

Also managed a double driver spot of Dessert Rat, who drove past the petrol station in That Biggar as we were fueling up for the trip home.

I did wonder why this driver was flashing their headlights as though to give way to me to cross the road, but then the car didn't slow down. At the last second I spotted you waving hello, so of course it was too late by then to reciprocate.

@macairney MiniSRD and I were heading out to Aberlady for some birdwatching on Sunday afternoon, in the 'best seat on the bus; of a 124 which followed a rider on a Bianchi for a long stretch - any chance that was you?

@SRD I don't think it was me as my Bianchi has been put in my mum's garage for the winter! I do know few other local Bianchi riders though

Traffic Chaos in Balerno Sunday morning makes it on to Edinburgh Live.

On A bend heading south west after the Rugby Club (Bavelaw Road) cars always park forcing road users heading North East on to the wrong side of the road. This has been tolerated for years due to being in the sticks. However, today probably due to a rugby match and a church service Fokkers also parked on the other side of the bend leaving a space too tight for a bus heading north east to get through. LB had to reroute the buses. NB nothing to do with pavement parking. All to do with Fokkers.

Spotted in the bike racks at Musselburgh Tesco on Saturday - one very large cargo bike, with a wee Islabike alongside it.

@piosad on Wednesday morning last week crossing The Meadows.

@gembo on Wednesday evening last week (well, he spotted me at least as per the 'Canal latest' thread) on the canal towpath.

@chrisfl and @gembo this morning, both on the canal towpath.

I have yet to spot Big John this year, maybe not since Oct/Nov?
