Oooh, there's another one about then! Not me I'm afraid, I'm coming into Haymarket from the west in the mornings, (and on my mountainbike just now having failed so far to fit the new front tyre to my Surly).
I'm certainly sleepy in the mornings just now and have blue panniers though..Out of interest, what colour was the LHT? (Mine is black, just being nosy as I've not seen many of them about here)

A foot-constable lightly reprimanding a woman in a car in the ASZ at the west end of West Preston Street this morning. It didn't look like he was giving her a fine or any points but at least he noticed and said.

Smudge, the LHT was black I think.

Interesting thanks, not one I've seen. I shall have to keep an eye out for it!

a woman who looked like she was auditioning for edinburgh cycle chic on a green banchi frame with laminated wood guards and woven basket on the front. long green coat and boots, panniers and a slightly out of place helmet. Was tempted to ask her is she was off to take photos on MMW...

Man looking like he was auditioning for cyclechic too. Business suit, brolly poking out of leather bag, but incredibly incongrously doing some highly impressive trackstanding on a tourer/commuter. I could only do them on my flat barred bike when it was fixed, still can't do more than a couple of seconds on the drop barred one, and wouldn't even bother trying with just brakes+balance to work with.
After Hilly Tuesday, I also saw the lad downstairs ride his MTB down the stairs rather smoothly.

Wife thinks I was seeing things, but sure I saw a cargobike, cage up front with............a sheep inside.
Seriously, going up yeaman place this evening 7ish
Sheep might have been a dog, or a figment of my addled mind.

Nelly I refer you to the Roberto beninigni section of jarmusch's night on earth where his taxi driver causes priest to have heart attack with tales of his lovely sheep? Maybe the vet who takes his dogs around was oing a homer?

Nelly: don't worry. The treatments for mental health disorders have come in leaps and bounds. They won't be electroshocking or lobotomising you; today's treatments are based around supervised interaction with mainstream society. So once you've been assessed as fit to leave the secured wards, you'll be grand!

Ha ! Its true, I tell you. Uberuce, I am self medicating cote du rhone at the moment. No more sheep, but I did see john bishop with a saddle too low.......

I passed a cargo bike tonight too; it was coming down Merchiston Av as I was going up, so not too far from Yeaman Pl, about 18:40ish.
Don't remember seeing a sheep though! There may have been a cage on the front, but it was the large yellowy, sandy coloured panniers on the back I noticed.

Must have picked up the sheep at fountain park. That explains things.

Hey you Surley Long Haul Trucker fans... BBC Radio Scotlands Tom Morton is planning an End to End ride, similar to kevlarhead's (only with Plush BBC hotels instead of camping) and he is using his Black Surley Long Haul Trucker. Theres a picture on his blog site for the trip:

Evans copy of raleigh shopper in Racing Green - lovely - brand new. If made in Britain I know a man in Airdrie who might like it

"shaking his head in a disapproving manner at something"
YEAH!!
Woman came out of Viewforth and 'seemed to be turning a bit wide' so I slowed down. She then aimed for Forbes Road so I slowed down a lot more!
She looked a bit shocked and apologetic when she finally noticed me!

Just been up to EBC to pick up a pair of these http://singletrack.competitor.com/2012/03/bikes-tech/quick-look-specialized-rime-shoes_29775 for 15% off (didn't know that offer was on!)
Anyway I spotted LOADS of people out on bikes. I'm incredibly jealous that I'm now back in the office....

"Technically a member of CCE - though I don't think he has ever posted..." Does he even know how to work a computer? Bloody Drummers!

Aye you have words with him.
Seems to have finished 'paternity leave'.
Well I assume that was him at work.
Didn't actually see him jumping lights, riding "wrong way" etc.
