Can't have a bike like that in Edinburgh without someone knowing the owner!

@ARobComp: "Driving yesterday along Melville drive @7:30- Saw a blue upright tricycle..."

See her every day when getting a lift in to work with the missus - Melville Drive (actually around 7:45 usually...). Never seen the kids on the back, tho'...

Last night, around 7:30 pm - recumbent emerging from Silverknowes end of cycle path, kicking up quite a wake as he swooshed through a big puddle. Beard, red visor on forehead, and possibly a wet botty...

Riffian yesterday on the north Edinburgh Sub path and then again this morning along the same path.

A lovely spot this morning was two wee boys ~2 & 3 yrs old on the Goldenacre path in florecent yellow tabards cycling on their own bikes with their mother in tow. I love to see young children cycling under their own steam. They enjoy so much more cycling when they can balance on their own pedal bikes.

DaveC - reciprocal spot this moring and yesterday on the Ferry Road Path. I had cunningly changed into my PortoVelo jersey this morning to keep him on his toes!

BTW- nice front light, Dave. I assume that is dynamo powered?

A guy in West Richmond Street with his h*lm*t on so very impressively far back on his head I was amazed at how he managed it. I don't know if it is a special kind or what.

Nah the lights are an Amazon special. There are two LED umbilical lights. These are the lights I have:

    http://www.eurolight-marketing.ltd.uk/pop_ups/moreinfo.aspx?id=15

    £39.99

They are great as they are bright, two independant lights so you can have one or two lights on (to save power) and point them in two directions, i.e. low down near you and further off to light up the path ahead. The heads swivel on the clamps too, and I mount then upside down so my handle bars are clear. They come with a mains adapter to charge them so I leave it plugged in, in the garage and just top up when they start to loose their brightness, which is not very often.

Kaputnik, on Porty prom heading east, around 3.15 this afternoon. I was in disguise as a pedestrian, just opposite the bus depot. So not surprisingly I was not reverse spotted. At least I don't think I was.

This doesn't count since POP was an pre-organised thing, but do I spy your good self in the background, crowriver? Didn't know what you looked like until some months after I took that.

@crowriver yes I completely missed you. I think at that point I was deep in contemplation about lunch!

I did see Nelly in the Earl... I was with Mrs LB and Rabid Hamster on way to dine out at Salvatories. No expense spared! Pub was tempting of course...

You seemed on a mission, or I'd have invited you up to the flat to have a gander at the Croix and Bullitt.

You have a Bullitt? Wasn't someone on here asking about its size as they are ordering a new shet and want to make it future proof (incase they ever get one)

Err Dave C, are you not meeting him tomorrow instead of Friday at peter's yard to try out all the various cargo bikes hauling 75 kg of tone up and down MMW, as per The Arrangement? :-)
