Someone has convinced me to take part in the Survival of the fittest run in October so I need to see if I can run.
What I'd ideally like to do is cycle to the Roseburn cliff entrance to the WoL run from there to Stockbridge and then die.
But I'd need somewhere to lock the bike up and preferably somewhere dry (we're having a lovely summer aren't we?)
Can anyone suggest somewhere nearby or know someone who lives nearby that has a car port roof thing that is open to the street or could be made open? I'd happily pay in beer wine or cake :)
While I could run from Harrison Park I think I would be dead by the time I get to the WoL and would be found floating in some car park downstream somewhere....
I've also got a chin up bar I've not installed, a kettle bell which does get used but will be ramped up and a sit up bar which again hasn't been installed on a door as I fear my doors are as thick as ASDA smart price tissue paper...

I used to commute daily on the route you are going to run. Under water at mo.? I watched a car port being built right at roseburn cliff, not sure if it has awning but also not sure the owner would welcome a bike in it. The polis were giving out good saddle covers at bike breakfast or poly bag?

Yeah I got the polis saddle cover. I know that stretch is/was underwater I cycled through it last year in the dark (oops) after thinking it must be shallower near the wall right? wrong! and that was after climbing the waterfall that was the metal steps at the weir at Damside Dean Village... where did I put that video...
