Ah, if I'd known, I was in Pedestrian Mode and walked by the bottom of the MMW slope at about 8.20...
Last time I popped in on my tod a couple of weeks ago it was dry so I defiantly sat outside. It was cold. But I was sitting outside.
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".

Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Sorry Dave, I had planned to ride in early to ring my bell but at 6am I switched my alarm off as I was still too tired.
No problem, we had quite an exclusive gathering / bike demo session ;-)
Clearly my phone-fu is weak, I meant it to go like
I set off for the bell-rining thing, then realised that I had taken the bell off my bike 2 weeks back and haven't got round to putting it back on, so I diverted straight to work instead.
Well I did the same as Dave - stuck this in my diary ages ago and didn't check. Was somewhat suspicious as there'd been no recent posts.
Anyway, any excuse for PY cake.
Good chat and very interesting to have a go on Dave's new set-up. Changes gear very smoothly. Doing a U-turn with the coaster brake was strange though, I seem to back pedal as I do this. I'm starting to realise that I may have a rather idiosyncratic riding style!
