Today, travelling along a road in my lorry, in Newton Mearns, up glasgow way, ahead of me is a fairly slow, roady, using the red cycle lane,up ahead is a car, parked in the lane, and a centre island, I am working so in no hurry, hang back and hold up traffic, let the guy continue safely, he looks at me as if i was tring to run him over, oh well ! 100 yards up he rljs, and is right in front of traffic to his left, tooting of horns and HE GESTICULATES TO JOE CITIZEN, waiting in his family saloon !

Coming along Gilmore place a white panelled lorry overtook me and pulled into the intersection with Leven street. I stopped well back from it. It did stop before ASL, then pulled forward into it (obviously didn't know the light sequence).

Three elderly but fit gents on touring bikes, over took me and sat so close behind it that their wheels were within inches of the rear. Then, as the lights changed and he rolled forward, they just kept rolling up him. There is no way he could have seen them. I was several bike lengths behind him, and could not see his mirrors at all. They laughed at me when I said they were riding dangerously. they were in no hurry - I'd seen them on the canal earlier, and easily overtook them on valleyfield. But they saw no prob;em at all with nudging this lorry's rear wheels, and even - at one point - looked like they were going to try and squeeze through between him and car in right turn lane (there was no room to at all).
