    One of those stupid electric mopeds that have pedals so they can be classified as bikes to avoid legalities, certainly not a bicycle.

    Aha found one, the ergonomics of the device mean it couldn't possibly be used as a "push bike" despite the description. These are pretty common in China these days.

    I saw a woman motor-pedalling farly slowly up Comiston Road on a pedal scooter a few weeks back. Previous similar sighting must have been about 30 years ago.

    Aye, a scooter. I was more wondering why she stopped right in front of the lorry, rather than just keeping on going...? Surely she'd have sneaked past it without wreaking her bike if she hadn't stopped?
