Looks nasty out there. Glad I'm not going out for an hour.

Sun over East Lothian, might get here by then(?)

First time commuting for a week due to an achilles problem. What a welcome back! Still the shower at work was good.

Huh yes what was all that about? Thought it was pretty cold and miserable, was still surprised to see the snow though.

I had thunderstorm-like rain all the way, but did see cars with snow on them. My hands and feet were frozen, and I got chilled when I stopped for nursery drop off half-way. Shower felt very, very good ('luckily' I'd planned for shower at work since bathroom at home currently consists of one wall and toilet...).

Snow in June is not unknown.

My 10 min ride to Haymarket wasn't too bad, despite the very heavy rain. My waterproofs (jacket, trousers and over shoes) aren't great quality but they can cope with a 10 minute deluge.
The worst bit was getting onto a much busier than normal train and not being able to spread stuff out a bit to dry off.

Has everyone seen the pentlands? I think the cloud was too heavy for me to see them before. they are WHITE!

when i came for a job interview in July, we packed hats and gloves, but didn't ever actually need them. came pretty close though.

It was sleeting, then snowing in my garden early this morning, and by Old Dalkeith Road I was in the middle of a hailstorm. Now the sun's come out and at my work you'd never even think it'd been raining.

Well you all have me to thank for the new sunshine outside
When I looked out the window it was just raining hard, when I took the wee man to his nursery I took a bin liner to cover the bike seat as I leave it for his mum to pick up, if I hadn't used reverse sods law it would still be raining...

See what happens when you have a Tory prime minister?

"See what happens when you have a Tory prime minister?"

    The snow or sun?

Or both with a 'balanced Parliament'?...

I'd just like to take this opportunity to look smug and say that my SKS mudguards are absolutely bl@@dy marvelous :-) and to commiserate with the poor lady I briefly spoke to near the slateford viaduct who was looking decidedly bedraggled this morning and suffering the mtb mud in face syndrome!

Remember what happened when GB became PM though? Half of England flooded.

Let's see if it snows in June, that is more remarkable, and has occurred twice to date in my lifetime, in Edinburgh.
