As I was demoing at PY yesterday, I took apart my SRAM Automatix and changed the speed at which it shifts to be a more reasonable 15mph.
In case anyone's interested, I wrote it up on my blog...
Knees much happier now! :)

IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

That's a really interesting bit of kit. Would love to have shot. What's the hub take-up like? Could you change the speed by changing your chainring/sprocket combo?
It's not based on cadence but mph, so you can have any gearing combo you like, but you'll always get low gear below Xmph and high gear above (by default, just over 10mph).
Feels really nice, anyone is welcome to a shot at the next PY / alternative event.
RPM more than MPH?
