A bit later this year, but hopefully coinciding with a glorious afternoon, there will be a family cycle ride to Spylaw Park at Colinton leaving around 12.30 from Polwarth Parish Church on August 19th.

This is a gentle ride, 3 miles each way, and almost flat. Bring food with you, including, if you like, something to share with others. If you know you're going to come, let Andy Hunter know andy AT storybikes.co.uk), or just bring your bike/s on the day.

If your knees aren't up to cycling any more but you'd like to come, Andy has one electric cycle that can be borrowed.

We can also provide trailer, child seats etc to borrow, if needed.

This Sunday, if you're not skyriding.

Some of you will know Andy from Storybikes and/or recall that at POP he kindly undertook to tow a child so that Philip Ward could serenade us while our own steveo piloted the Pino.

We'll maybe be up for that - need to get the baby seat fitted and Mrs Spytfyre's bike inflated, oiled brakes and gears checked etc... - ping me a message in the morning in case I have forgotten ;)

    Consider yourself reminded :)

If you guys want to ride the tandem (with childseat), that's fine with me (as long as there's a bike I can ride - need my folder!)

Anyone else wanting to borrow a trailer, seats, taglong etc. let us know.
