Here are some great bike offers to get you off to a good start.

Are you the next Bradley Wiggins? Whilst some staff may have the aspiration to go for gold, many of us are quite content just reaching our destination. Whether you are pulling on the Yellow Jersey or lets face it, your waterproof coat, having a good bike in working order will be a great help. So here's some great offers for staff to help you on your way:

    Bike maintenance - 20% off
Take advantage of the latest offer of 20% off bike maintenance offered by Greasemonkey for all those using our new black Premium Benefits card. Greasemonkey also offers a Bike Doctor service where they can come out to your place of work with a work stand and perform mini 'Tune-ups' on staff bikes. A Tune-up consists of a brake and gear adjustment along with a general bike health check.

    Cycling gear - 10% off
To get the look to match your bike, why not benefit from 10% off quality affordable cycling gear at Alleycat.

    Bike to work scheme
Don't forget the current Bike to Work scheme is open to 30 September 2012. You can select a bicycle package from our supplier, which can include safety and security equipment, between £200 and £1,000 and the value is repaid through your salary reductions over 18 months. It really is that simple!
So stick on those side burns and use your peddle power!

I know. I nearly reported it but then decided I couldn't be arsed.

When I see (yet another) car with defective tail lights, I could try to let the driver know, but then a teeny bit of schadenfreude always seems to kick in.

CEC ought to know better, though.

Thought this might be the most appropriate thread to post on rather than starting yet another... CEC bugs 'n bees!
    Edinburgh Council website:
Aaargh, just tried looking for something bikey/planningy on it, they've changed it/re-wallpapered it all, and lots of 'linky links' broken now, horrendous, shock, horror, probe! Search engine is about as useful as biscuit crumbs in a dufflecoat pocket (keep fiddling with them, but watch out for the purple fluff)!
Its new purpose must be to obfuscate the Concil's true raison d'etre! You have been warned!

I wonder if they are still outsourcing ICT to BT.
