Not just a gimmick.
This is a great place to eat, I visited a couple years ago now but it is somewhere I would go back to.
I seem to remember the menu lets you mix your sides as you wish

Mate of mine goes a lot, they have great wine tasting / food events too.

Wouldn't have thought their sideways wine store would have stocked merlot. (if you know the movie). Ravenswood Zinfandel at 15% abv looks good. Seemed a little complicated mix of menus and a bit grill tastic for a veggie like me. (Zinfandel was third in the 1904 Gold Cup at Ascot)

Grill and good wine sounds like perfect venue for my birthday meal come November. Hopefully bring a bit of California sunshine into the dark nights of that time of year.
